Description

ADMIN NOTE: No overnight camping allowed, please respect the wishes of the locals

It's a street close to the hospital and next to a Park that has picnic tables and toilets. The Park closes from 23-6. It's not the best thing but for a night, free in San Diego It's ok

Latest Check-Ins

We stayed here one night without any problems. Second night police came in the evening telling us that parking is allowed but not sleeping. There was a Very stupid lady shouting that she called the police. She lives in the neighborhood and saw that we were that night before to and she don’t want that we were sleeping there. There were a lot of caravans and campers without people parked there. So come late and leave early so that this stupid lady don’t see you. Its a nice place near the ferry to downtown

Very good place. Free, close to downtown SD, and has toilets and drinking water. A little noisy but nothing too bad.

Good place. near to the beatiful park. we stay three nigths. The last morning the police visiting us and advice that its not possible overnigth here.

We stayed from Monday to Tuesday. The traffic to the island starts nearly 5 am and was terrible. Maybe not so bad on the weekend?! The good thing: very nice boardwalk, only 10 min and you are at the Ferry Landing. Restaurants, Ferry to the Broadway Pier. Perfect for visiting San Diego while your car parks for free.

Perfect place for a overnight stay. As sad not to much noise from the roads around. Saturday morning lots of kids with parents on the soccerfields, but no one complaining about our stay just currious about the dutch license plates. Toilets in middle of park but no doors.

Report Check-In

Streetside parking on access road to park parking lot. Surprisingly quiet even though right next to busy avenue/freeway/bridge access. Kept a very low profile and was not bothered by passing police.
Restroom (without doors) in park. Free.
