Latest Check-Ins

We chose it because of the secure parking which really seemed secure so far. You’ve got to negotiate the price for parking with the people from the parking, not with the hotel. They asked for 10 sol/ 1day and night and we agreed.
The hostel itself seems more like a hotel, we paid 50soles for a twin bed room, they asked 60. Ok for 1 night ;)

Good secure parking!! It is around the corner. Huge gate with a family that runs it. Three barking dogs, and when I went at 7 last night to get dog food, the mama answered with a big stick in her hand. With all the break ins in Puno, my car felt very safe.

Hotel is great. 60 soles for a single, without bookings 54. Parking is an extra 7 soles per night. Hot water, but ask at the desk before you take a shower. Dog friendly. Good WiFi, tv. Excellent breakfast, as some one said before. Clean and warm. I got a sunny room and loved it. He speaks English and is very helpful. I took two excellent tours they sold, plus he made me copies.

He went out of his way to help me. It is a walk into the Plaza de Armas, but you see real Puno. Nearby are good chicken places and an excellent bakery for empanadas and cakes.

90 pesos for a double. Not worth it. Shower is barely warm (couldn't get myself under it), breakfast is good, but basic (juice from powder), the fumes from the street make it impossible to open a window, so not enough air in the room. But the receptionist is very friendly and we could store our bicycles in a storage room on the first floor. WiFi is supwr fast!!! Kitchen on the last floor is very basic (only one cup). Place to do laundry on the terrace.
