We drove around 30-40 min gravel road and it wasn’t really fun even with our SUV. The recreation site has two big sites. One of them has a table and one pit toilet is there. Although you are directly at the lake the view is not good because of the trees. We didn’t stay because there were tons of mosquitoes.
The place is ok but I wouldn’t recommend it because of the long and ruff drive and the mosquitoes.
Very nice rec site on the side of the lake. Lots of place in an open field. Also a few spots a bit lower and closer to the lake and a very nice spot just on the side of the lake on the right of a boat launch. Pit toilet available. Beautiful sunset and we caught a few white fish and a rainbow trout near the boat launch. I would also recomend to stop at the Tsilcoh falls rec site a few minutes before Tezzeron lake. Quiet spot near falls.
