Had a good stay for 6 days here amongst the cows. Waited out stormy weather and hiked along the boulders. As stated, beautiful Canyon area close by. Had some really gusty winds one day. Very peaceful and only a few campers in the distance.
Report Check-InRemote area, the river canyon is beautiful. 2 other rigs in April. Approach has a gulley but never locked in 4x4 truck camper. be Saw 2 vans out here. Verizon ok
Report Check-InNice secluded spot off the beaten path. We stopped at the first clearing. 2WD sprinter made it with ease. 4WD recommended if trying to go further toward the water. Quiet, slight rumble from the train in the distance. Watch out for glass EVERYWHERE.
Report Check-InSite located right above Little Colorado River. Follow dirt road to cleared area. Many broken glass bottles so be careful where you step.
Report Check-Initll do. definitely a dumpster. no refuge from wind either but that's pretty common around here. that said it is beautiful.
Report Check-InPlenty of spots to boondock in the area. Seems to be a dumping area so there's a lot of trash which is sad. Please don't add to it and leave it cleaner than you found it. Beautiful sunset. Very windy. Free, no amenities.
Report Check-InNo signs to denote area, pull off on first or second very rough road and find a spot. If wet, 4x4 a requirement. High clearance strongly recommended for initial pull of (see picture).
