We stayed here for a night. It’s right next to the road but not very many vehicles pass by. You’re surrounded by a mountain on one side and vegas on the other where horses and donkeys have their open pasture. It’s not enclosed so they can get very close. Along this road there are very friendly indigenous communities so please be very respectful of the local animals and landscape.
Report Check-Inbeautiful spot by the side of the road overlooking a green valley. horses everywhere. until 10 there were still the occasional busses. after it was quite. starry skies.
Report Check-InI stayed here with my bicycle and tent. completely visable from the road but not one car after dark fall. when I was setting up my tent a friendly senior drove past in his truck and informed me that all this land is private, owned by indigenous people. he allowed me to stay just saying that officially everything behind the little pull put from the road is private property. nice views. wind calms down at night. do not rely on the "natural water source". it's a tiny stream. not even streaming when I was there...horses still there! beautiful!!
Report Check-InStayed here as well after coming down. Laguna Verde was too windy and cold. Parked on large mudcracks next to scared grave. Had a good night.
Report Check-InNice flat area close to the road but very few cars. Nice views on mountains and good acclimatisation if going up Paso san francisco.
