Latest Check-Ins

came here during the day for a cookout. Looks like beach is not used. sleepy and quiet area. I would not mind staying a night here. quiet a few city streets end by the beach.

Report Check-In

We camped here 3 night- beautiful shell beach with lovely locals
We helped clean the area (so much plastic) and left some good karma for the next camper
No issue with police (not even seen one)
Shore is very strong with waves! But flat around 150 cm on hightide!

Report Check-In

We were here for about three hours, then at about 9PM police showed up and told us we should move somewhere else because it's dangerous here. Surprised because all the reviews on here seemed fine, and the locals in the nearby neighbor were kind to us. Maybe something happened here recently? Nevertheless, we moved to the Lighthouse (Faro Antigua) street parking (also listed on this app,) and stayed there. Security guard of the place was outside and told us it was fine.

Isla Aguada beach is public, they allow you to park and sleep near the beach but without disturbing the sea turtle and this site is their nesting place, it is a very quiet and safe place, we travel with a 10-meter fifth wheel and there is enough terrain to maneuver, beautiful sunrise and sunset.

nice Tranquilo place for a night
not perfect, but common, we've seen worth!
cops came twice with pick ups during the night without bothering us.
lots of wind for a cool night
no noise at night
easy access with a big camper
if you have a 4x4 then you have lots of other choices on the coast

Went here but didn't look very nice so didn't stay

slept here after dissapointing meal next door. had a perfect night here. no noise. light ocean breeze. felt save. lots of lanterns leading to the beach scaring bad people away ;)

Report Check-In

Stopped in as a lunch break. Seems to be quite quiet, no noise from the resturant although it is a Tuesday afternoon..maybe it's not open? Lots of seashells at the beach, nice breeze. No shade at all here.
Quite a few beer bottles and also a hypodermic needle still in the package around the parking area but the actual beach is quite clean. Not particularly level but you could probably make it work. bought the most delicious, fresh coco frio here from a fellow in a red tuk tuk.

Report Check-In

We stayed there during the day. Very loud music as said before the whole day. Even without guests in the restaurant :D Impossible to sleep there with this music. Beach is nice, just take care of all the broken glass at the parking area.

Report Check-In

the beach is really nice, lots of seashells. This spot is ok since it's level and not too sandy, but it's dirty and extremely noisy. There is a restaurant next door that blasted music until 5am, stopped for an hour, then started again for no reason. There was nobody at the restaurant all night and they kept the music blasting even after they shut off all the lights.

Report Check-In

Free beachfront parking. Potential for noise, as this is their "city beach". Beautiful location, great breeze. Opens to the large lagoon under the bridge.

Not quiet at all when we stayed. Restaurant next door blasting techno music until midnight (we can feel the bass vibrating in our van). There weren't any customers in the restaurant either. Haha. The sand on the beach is not good to drive on unless you have a 4x4, we got stuck at the end of the road just before the beach starts. Locals friendly, helped us out and we bought them beers, although they did say they would like to kidnap an American and send a video to Trump.... Can feel the tension for Americans in Mexico these days.

Report Check-In

Quiet local beach spot. Close to town. Pretty windy in the afternoon, but it died down in the evening/night.

A few locals on the beach, waved and smiled. We were awoken by a local policia about 2am, but when he realized someone was in the rig he went back to his car and drove away before I could get outside to talk to him.

Probably just thought the rig was abandoned and felt bad for waking us up.

Report Check-In

No wind, no problems. I drove my motorbike across the sort of grass part of the beach and set up my tent for two nights. Locals didn't care I was there, couple stopped by to chat and include me in some selfies! The water isn't the greatest, thou it's a good stop en route to someplace else.

Report Check-In

Large flat area right behind the beach, surrounded by a quiet residential area. Level, no shade, partly soft sand. Quiet. Windy from the afternoon on, with heavy salt spray. Might pop your tent if not too windy. Definitely less windy here than at the beaches further east.

Report Check-In

You can drive onto the beach. The sand is quite compact to the right just where the plants end. Some trash. A few locals. Quiet
