East (northbound) side of Smith Island Road across from Langus Riverfront Park regularly used by other campers. I have camped here dozens of times with no issues from riffraff or police. The only thing they frown upon are littering and vehicles parked for more than a few days. Restrooms usually open in the morning.

I don’t know if it’s OK to park and sleep here anymore. At around 1130pm cops came and told each car one by one that they can’t stay there overnight.
Report Check-InChecking in at 10pm. Very quiet area, but it is right next to a park. So I am not going to stay much past dusk. There was a parking lot for the park off the main road half a mile back that I would have parked at, but someone was already there. Pretty dark. Low traffic.
