No signs stating no camping. Stayed one night. Road ok but rutted. Quiet.

Report Check-In

This place is only 0.3 miles away from the sign that says that camping is permitted only after .5 miles.

Report Check-In

Very close to Canyonlands, great place to stay. Lot’s of places for several vehicles

Report Check-In

Très bon endroit. Très beau très calme car la route principale est assez loin. C’est plat, plusieurs RV tiennent. Nous étions 3 cette nuit. Nous recommandons.

Report Check-In

Amazing spot! We were the only ones there. We saw a few trucks go by to the spots further along but felt we did not need to attempt going further as road had soft and rather deep sand. We were fortunate with a beautiful warm weather and a lovely sunset. We slept very well. Heard nothing and saw only a few cows go by. Highly recommend it!

Report Check-In

someone was in this spot, and though there was room for us we decided to drive up about 3-4 minutes and stayed at another fairly level place just off the main road.

Report Check-In

Great spot, easy to get to. Only one other van there. Wasn't there was for the sunset but got to watch the full moon rise and it was spectacular!

Report Check-In

Beautiful place to camp! Minimal service but beautiful views if you wake up early enough! No shade. There is another spot further down the road. There were 3 other cars there but we couldn’t hear them.

Report Check-In

Excellent and peaceful spot, had a nice fire for sunset and star gazing. Only saw one van pass by all night for a spot further down the road.

Report Check-In

So close to the parks and very quiet. Pulled in around 6pm on a Friday night, only van there. Shortly after one other van also pulled in. Only two other vans/rigs passed by all night. Great spot!

Report Check-In

All spots full when i got here so parked in an area by the fence where it looked like others had. I went a ways down the road past the point or it being more high clearance and the sand got super soft and deep so i got stuck. Thankfully 4wdL
Very quiet

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot!!! FANTASTIC views of sunset, delayed view on sunrise but can’t beat it. Less than 10min from canyonlands entrance.
No camping within first 1/2 mile of pull from main road but go down about 3/4mile and there’s a spot on your left. Road may be washed out depending on time of year but made it in my highlander.
Spotty cell service so plan on none.

Ótimo lugar para dormir e passar o dia, muito tranquilo e a vista é linda. Bem pertinho da entrada do parque.

Report Check-In

great place! free which is great as most other BLM in this area charges. beautiful & peaceful camp while visiting arches and canyonlands. we were even able to get some reception on our hotspot and stream something while we wound down for the evening.

Report Check-In

We stayed at the second camp site off the road in a Sprinter 3500 and I probably wouldn't go any farther up the road in a vehicle this big. Our spot was perfect for our needs and if I was in a smaller vehicle I would definitely drive in to the third campsite which has some shade and a bigger firepit. lots of cow pies, but its quiet and beautiful and you're right near the park. By 8pm there were a few people here and others turned around and took off after driving in.

Report Check-In

Awesome place to stay while visiting Canyonlands NP, just a few miles from the entrance and .5 miles from main road. Parking area big enough for a few rigs. It would probably be a good idea to have higher clearance to go futher down the dirt road, saw a Honda suv come out one morning.

Report Check-In

Was able to get to the second campsite with a 36 ft rv but it was pretty hairy. Would recommend staying at the first for bigger rigs. Beautiful, quiet space with spotty service.

Report Check-In

We stayed at the first spot in the road with a fire ring. We had 3 other vehicles join us before the end of the night. Plenty of room. It’s super quiet and the stars shine bright.

We saw several people attempt to go down the road further only to reverse back out.

There were cow pies around and many sticker bushes but the site had no trash.

Report Check-In

Awesome! Beautiful spot. Plenty of space. Spectacular sunset and sunrise.

Report Check-In

First site in this road. Beautiful views all around. Plenty of space for camper or 2 vans. We only saw one other car after getting there at 5.

Report Check-In

We stayed here for 2 nights with a 25 feet RV. No problem is the path is dry.
The place is really quiet, far from the road and if you choose a spot closer to the road, you have 2 bars.
Sunsets are beautiful.
Very close from the Canyonlands National Park entrance

Report Check-In

Amazing Spot. 1-2 bars Verizon when outside of van. Just enough to confirm dinner plans yet not enough to get distracted by work.

The first spot was easy enough to get to on snowy roads

Report Check-In

Very nice spot close to Canyonlands NP. Can fit a big rig or two vans. There are more spots further but road condition is not the best.

Report Check-In

Nice area. Lots of stars and no noice. The wind is fine, no.bugs.

Report Check-In

Great place, beautiful view, slept one night.

Report Check-In

Beautiful, quiet, a bit windy, close to the gate. Slept one night.

Report Check-In

Great spot near Canyonlands park. Beautiful view.

Report Check-In

Great spot right off the road, really quiet and we only saw a few other cars the entire time. Highly recommended if you’re not looking for bike trails.

Report Check-In

Great spot two vehicles setup and nice fire pit and large rock couch.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, less than 10 minutes from Islands in the Sky visitor center. Managed to get here
with our 30 ft RV. Only room for one vehicle. Beautiful sunset and view of the La Sal mountains.

Report Check-In

Nice spot despite low temperatures (3/5° celsius during the night). It had rained (not too heavily but constantly) over the past 3 days but the dirt road was OK with our 2WD campervan although with heavy rains, one could get stuck in some places but it is possible to drive in the field along the road if too muddy with a high clearance vehicle.

Report Check-In

The road past this point gets very "rollercoaster-y" but it's very smooth with no rocks. High clearance would easily make it, no 4wd necessary assuming it is dry. There are some nice spots a ways further down the road (where you could also turn around)

Report Check-In

We needed more wind protection when we arrived so we drove about .5 mile down the road then took a left and parked closer to the large rock formation. There was even a fire ring but too windy to use. This spot may not be reachable if it rains.

Report Check-In

Great spot, beautiful sunset and sunrise, quiet night and easy accessible for a van

Report Check-In

Wonderful place near Canyonlands entrance

Report Check-In

Quiet, fire is possible at night, amazing stars.

Report Check-In

Nice! Level, quiet, sometimes windy, no shade, legal, free. BLM land. 5km drive to Canyonlands Island in the Sky Visitor Center.
Note: If you follow the dirt road further down from the marked location, it gets bumpy and difficult to turn around.

Report Check-In

Very nice, great view, road driveabke, but has ruts.
