Houseboat & RV park | Informal Campsite

Pulled in to this place before seeing its on iOverlander (coordinates were wrong). There are signs for parqueo right next to Hotel Casa del Playa RossMerry. Got greeted by the owners Adela and Helmut who seemed more than happy to welcome overlanders. They asked for USD15 but I'm sure you can negotiate if that is too much for you. They don't do this for the money but to meet people and promote tourism in the area. Spent two amazing days with them and met so many kind people. Adela took us on a boat tour through the mangroves and to their houseboat. She speaks good english but speaking spanish will help you to interact with the others working/hanging on the property. It's just a parking lot in front of the owner's house and facilities are basic. The access/space could be difficult for very big rigs. The beach is right across the street. The owners may not always be here as they commute between two places but I understand that there's always someone there. 100% recommended for a local Honduran experience.

We did not find this place, the coordinates took us to a vacant and very small parking lot which we would not been able to enter . We did see the houseboat, not a place for a Class A to travel at 36 ft streets were tight, low wires, and tight turns.

RV park & Houseboat.
It's a place with good friends, good vibes, secure no restrictions for the large of your motor home
Also, we have tours for the Bay of San Lorenzo, fireplace, fishing nights in the Houseboat
