Description

Beautiful camp right on the lake front. Nice sunset. Lots of grass and flat spots to park. Popular with locals swimming and fishing in the evening. Quiet at night - just you and the fireflies!
2019: not quiet during the weekend

Latest Check-Ins

This is a very pretty and calm spot but in this period it’s swarmed with mosquitoes so be prepared. Not many people when we were here and mainly just people coming to fish or for a quick walk.
We saw people coming and going with motos and cars at other lakes too, I think Bolivians just like to drive around in the evening 🤷‍♀️

this is a very busy local hangout for the town nearby. at one point perhaps a hundred people hanging out. locals swim in the lake, but the water is pretty gross. definitely no privacy. for some reason a lot of cars and motos drive to this point, turn around, and then drive back until 11pm. the mosquitoes are not to bad, but the giant biting flies are savage! lots of neat birds though.

Beautiful lake but as soon as we got out of the car we had to fight 500 mosquitoes on us... We lost and went somewhere else.

We drive to the part on the right and had a pleasant grassy spot. Some locals but quiet at night.

Gorgeous lakeside spot! Quiet overnight, no one else around except for a curious capybara. Our drive here from Trinidad took longer than expected as we stopped to help some locals with car battery problems, so unfortunately we missed the sunset.. But we did get to enjoy breakfast on the pier in the morning :)
