Latest Check-Ins

Stayed 3 days for Mard7i Gras. I did not use facilities. Lots of water pooling in spots, that might be bad in mosquito season.

Report Check-In

Stayed for 2 nights in our camper van. Was $25/night Sunday through Thuraday. It was a nice, quiet campground with hot showers. There was wifi but it didn't work well. Easy drive to New Orleans if you want to park and get the streetcar to go into the city or just relax and enjoy nature!

Report Check-In

Lots of armadillos and feral kitties in the park. Not very private spot (#27). Can hear noise from city and airboats. Near some of the levees. Very close to explore the city.

Report Check-In

Nice RV camping, really quiet in the nature. The wifi didn't work because we were parked too far from the wifi spot.

Report Check-In

We had booked several days over the Mardi Gras period and extended our stay.
Reservation on the site. https://www.lastateparks.com/parks-preserves/bayou-segnette-state-park
Please note that it is not possible to book online for just 1 night on weekends, see reception directly.
The place is very pleasant. The spots are in the greenery and the trees. Awakened in the morning by the songs of very insistent birds…
$25-33 for 50' spots with water and electricity. You have to evacuate the water at the dump station at the entrance to the campground.
1 laundry per loop with only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers (plan quarters $1.75/machine).
Secure entrances day by reception and night by access code.
Entry from 2 p.m. and exit before 1 p.m.
Very easy access to New Orleans by private vehicle.
We did not test the showers or the toilets or the swimming pool.
Reception of mail and parcels possible during the duration of the stay.

Report Check-In

Nice small RV state park, a little confusing to get to, especially after dark. The customer service representative we got over the phone was hilariously bad, but we dealt with it. 1/2 women’s showers worked for hot water. Good bathroom, a bit far of a walk. Numbering system was hard to interpret. Once parked and hooked up, we were very happy with the site. Well spaced. FYI the cabins are a great price and very unique too, maybe worth a splurge to treat yourself. No wifi but good data.

Reception is across under the bridge, pretty hard to find.

Report Check-In

very bad experience
wifi is not working
cold showers
the washing machines doesn't work well and bad welcome
don't go...

Report Check-In

Big campground - about 100 sites in 2 loops. All are back in/out, and all have electricity and water. Bit of a walk to the washrooms from some sites. No wifi at site 81. Quiet.

NPR at 89.9.

Report Check-In

Hot showers, 1,75$ for the washing machine and 1,75$ for the dryer. Very calm environment. Really nice for 30$ the night.

This was a great park to stay in Our stay was for 2 weeks but on the 9 day it rained like crazy and they closed the campground We had hours to find another park to go to
We absolutely will return to this park. It was super quiet in late March and very clean.

Report Check-In

Very nice State campground with water and electric at site, dump station at entry to park. Very quiet and pretty. Close to New Orleans by Ferry. Visited. Nearby Whitney Plantation while there. Only negative to park was the large hill at the entry gate and office. Back of fifth wheel was dragging due to incline. Some bugs but not bad. Would definitely stay again

Report Check-In

Enjoyed our 4 nights here but disappointed with bathrooms as not very clean. Great park to cycle around & Lyft from camping spot into French Quarter around $20 each way. $30 a night for camping. Not our favorite State Park but great if u want to go see NOLA

Report Check-In

Excellent campground. Each site even has its own wooden deck. Some noise from airboats during daylight hours, but not awful.

Report Check-In

not very quiet, slot of ambient outdoor/road noise, showers didn't work, no toilet paper, no soap in the sinks, and really expensive to camp 1 night 43$ for one adult, and one child, albeit it is pretty.

Report Check-In

Seems like a funny place for a campground, and it takes a minute to navigate your way to the sites, but it gets the job done. Close to the city, we used it for one night before springing for the holiday inn up the street. We weren't particularly impressed with the showers, I think knee high stalls made us slightly uncomfortable. We've taken much worse showers during our travels, so perhaps we're getting picky. No bugs since it was cold. Most sites offered decent privacy as well.

Report Check-In

Good Campground for New Orleans visit, good location, about 25 min drive.
Hot shower, clean bathrooms, laundry room (free), poor wifi
Kinda noisy at night maybe because of the swamp tours so close.
About 40$ per night with reservation fee & taxes.

Report Check-In

Well maintained campground. Hot showers and clean restrooms. 1 over 3 showers working in the man’s room. Very quiet on a Friday night.
Wifi not really fast
Pretty expensive : 42$ total for 1 night (campsite + fees). We cannot use hookups here, precised it at the campgroung check in and it did not help to get a discount

Report Check-In

$39, for one night, at least 14 to much compared to other state parks. Spacious. Free laundry.

Report Check-In

Nice for New Orleans visit, can drive to Algiers Ferry $2 per person each way. Camp has 100 spaces, about $30 per night Plus $6 transaction fee plus tax. Hot showers, flush toilets, free laundry. Filled on weekends. Mosquitos.

Report Check-In

à 30 minutes de Nouvelle Orleans.Quit main road good for road bike.

Report Check-In

Clean campground close to the French Quarter $36 including fees, clean bathrooms and working wifi.

Report Check-In

er stayed here One night fore near 45$ - 2 Persons incl.6$ Handlingfee. Water and Electricity at all 100 Places.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

State Park campground, 100something spots available. Full hookups and some sites have decks. But quite expensive.
30$ a night + 6$ transaction fees
33$ on the weekend

There’s free laundry room with washer and dryers so it’s quite convenient. Clean bathrooms with hot showers too.
Playgrounds for the kids.

20 minutes from downtown New Orleans.

Report Check-In

Nice site and prety quiet but not noiseless (road and trains night and day). Price for a sunday night 25$ + tax (more expensive friday and saturday ). But I paid 6$ more as transaction fee ! I suppose price changes following who is at the office ! Because this transaction fee is not written anywhere ! Free laundry.

Report Check-In

We wanted to camp here but price is 37,50$ in weekdays. This is the inly rate.

Report Check-In

Awesome state park. Will be back for sure. 20 per night. Lots of amenities and wildlife!

Report Check-In

$20/night with electricity + water (add $6 for transaction fees).
WiFi
hot water shower + okay toilette (there is also free washing drying machines )
Since we are off season, we drove to the french quarter in New Orleans. But there is also a ferry you can drive to that will cross you over the Mississippi.

Report Check-In
