Follow the road to the end and it will take you to the river where there are lots of spaces to camp. unfortunate about the strewn rubbish.
NOTE: don't turn where Google maps says. Go past it and you'll see a road leading down the left side.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This is a huge construction side now. Not possible to camp nearby the river. on either side.
Report Check-InOne side of the river is a giant dust bowl. The other has some shade, it’s very bumpy road right next to someone’s house. Not sure how much leveled parking there is. There was a local couple on a date. We decided not to camp here and find something a little more open. Look for “Caballito Desperado” a little further up if you want to be close to gorgeous horses.
Report Check-Instopped on the other side of the bridge (left from the path from r5). popular place amongst locals on a Sunday afternoon, with families enjoying the river, BBQ / picnic, but we were alone at night. some rubbish but not too much. probably very pleasant in the summer for a swim!
Report Check-InCouldn't find the place, the path indicat
ed by maps leads to a private property... so we went a little further down the road
nice spot, just by the river, there was a bit of loud music in the night from far away but it was Friday night so maybe just a local party. otherwise pretty good
Report Check-InA few families around on election day. Nice enough place to chill for an afternoon and night. A fair bit of rubbish.
