Description
An eco-camping spot, kitchen with gas available which has benches and foosball too, as well as a nice porch and camp spots with benches. Best for tents, not sure for vehicles. Hot water and shiny bathrooms! No wifi. 9000 peso in season. Great owner (Alvaro) who can speak German, French, Spanish, Catalán and touches of English and has fantastic humour.

No wifi
The correct name is Camping Cabañas Alto Puelo, where Ricardo and Alvaro are great owners/hosts. Open at least when we passed, cell +569 77864959 can always be called.
We stayed only one night, very calm and totally empty; only minutes away from the thermal baths - also updated in this app - where it is not allowed to stay. No sign on the street to avoid overcrowding, but a few meters inside at a barrier.
I called the owner to ask if the campsite was open and he said it would open the 20th of November 2022
Report Check-InI stayed here three nights waiting out a huge rainstorm. Very friendly owner and other campers, good large community area with indoor fire place that was lit every night. They now have had heated showers! Price was 7.000 p/p
Report Check-Init's 6000pp but very worth it, especially if raining. very nice large kitchen with all the necessities, covered areas to relax, some hammocks, hot showers, toilets with toilet paper, and about all a very friendly and solicitous owner. you absolutely get what you pay for, and then some!

Report Check-InAlvaro ist sehr entspannt und freut sich deutsch zu sprechen. Er hat mich auf ein paar Gläschen Wein eingeladen und wir haben zusammen philosopiert. Der Campingplatz hat schöne Grünflächen eine super Küche und warme Dusche. Für das Auto werden 5000 Pesos und pro Person 6000 Pesos fällig. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
Alvara is a very realaxed Men who enjoyes company. The camping is grasy space with nice kittchen and warm showers. The cost is 5000 pP. and 6000 for the car.
Eco camping site run by Alvaro who is a great host. Solar heated outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen with good facilities and fire pit. Wifi available beside the house. Quiet in the evenings and great views to surrounding mountains through the day
Report Check-InNice little spot to park and get a hot shower and fill up the water tank. We were here mid October in the off season and had the place to ourselves. Owner was out of town but the Swiss caretaker Mattias helped us out and showed us everything. Nice grassy field, good views, outdoor kitchen, clean bathrooms and hot showers. Didn't find out about the wifi though. Good base to explore further into Rio Puelo and Cochamó valleys. Recommended
