Description

small parking lot for the Petroglyph NPM Piedras Marcada Canyon Trailhead. it's in a residential /commercial area and safer than other parks of ABQ. no signage prohibiting overnight parking and I asked a park ranger who happened to be there if I was safe to park overnight. he said it was safer than other areas. I didn't stay here, I stayed at the nearby Walmart, but next time I would.

Slept here in the car for one night. Except for one family that walked across the lot, we heard and saw nobody else. Very pleasant! Otherwise concur with what everybody else mentioned :).

Report Check-In

Nice and quiet spot. No signs prohibiting overnight but it is across from a residential area so personally recommend limiting to one night and staying stealth.
