Nice easy to get to pull off with sweeping views of the Colorado River close to I-70. Fire ring located. No sign saying "no overnight camping" here. Large enough for several cars or a few larger setups. I was here alone and no one bothered me. It hugs a very quiet road. Train passing through very infrequently. Decent but spotty connection with AT&T closer to the road. Someone left trash here though please pack in/pack out.

After the rain we opted for this place rather than risk mud in the Deep Creek area. It’s a little muddy but not bad. Views are great. Verizon service is barely ok.
Report Check-InAs described. We'd call this a "line of travel Boondocking location" and not really a spot to stay more than a night. We pulled forward of the BLM boundary sign and had a level spot for our overland rig. Verizon 2-3 bars.
