Namuskluft Camp | Established Campground

Dewie was very helpful when we got stuck in a sandroad. Take the entrance road at about 8km from Rosh Pinah, follow the signes. Do not take the road that is on the nav app Osmand.
This is a beautiful place to stay a night or 2.

We arrived without booking and were a little concerned when we got to the gate as the place looked deserted. After hooting we saw someone coming down from the main house in the distance. We were so glad we didn't just turn around. What an amazing place and experience! All the sites had a private outside kitchen/cooking area, with huge, spotless ablutions just off from there. Hot water from a donkey boiler that worked like a bomb. Owners were fantastic and very friendly. Our daughter was up at there house playing with their daughter almost immediately. The walks into the desert and mountains were spectacular, and an early morning walk with Dawie, the owner, and his Kudu, was something quite special which we will never forget.

Very good place for a stopover. The abloution block is functional and clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. At the moment, the place hasn't a lot of shade. The owner planted a lot of trees, so in the future,
it will have shade for everyone

The Namuskluft Camp turn off is 7.7km from Rosh Pinah on the road to Oranjemund. The Camp has 8 luxury campsites with each one its own toilet, shower and braai. The Namuskluft camp offers walking trails, 4x4 trails, the campsites have power for lighting but not for charging cars and caravans. Rates N$180pp

Can’t believe this place wasn’t on IOverlander.
Spotless ablutions,private sites,with mountain surrounds. Good walking trails from the camp.
Dawie and Hilen are lovely people. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would highly recommend.

It is really nice-nice place!!! Everything you need are here: hot water, clean and new ablution, rest zone. You can feed Kudu )) You can walk. We really enjoy to stop here. We had some problems with a car so we stayed here about 2 weeks. Owner Dewie is so kind and helpful! We are so glad to find this place!
Highly recommended!
