It's a lovely bakery with great bread, super brezels and delicious pastries. But the quality has it's price...

Great bakery with wholegrain bread. Really good! And they have a small café attached with WiFi. Also try the pastries, I can recommend German Apfelstrudel 😜

Really friendly lady and the pastries looked really good. The ham cheese croissant was really nice. The others were a bit small and plain in taste for the steep/touristic prices.

Nice breakfast/brunch, a few tables in and outside. Some books to exchange (not only German), very friendly staff and good WiFi. A nice change from the bakeries in Latin-America but not really like in Germany, but still good.

Report Check-In

Dissapointingly average except with rye and whole wheat flour, dry and tasteless. Linzertorte was not authentic.

Really nice cafe, good pastries, coffee and a super nice owner! Highly recommend.

I am German and am delighted with the quality of the pastry, brezel, bread, coffee

We went here in the morning just shortly after he opened the bakery and got disappointed. The bread seems to be two days old and wasn't "crusty" as the name of the bread promised. The Brezel was not good as well and hard like stone. The Franzbrötchen was okay. All in all it was a very poor breakfast we had and we definitely expected more from a German bakery. If you expect freshly crusty bread like in Germany don't go here. The supermarket has better baguettes..

If you are searching real good bread then this is your place. The bakery offers a big range of delicious German style bread. Run by a super friendly family. They also have pretzels fresh made with Brie cheese...delicious!
