Description

MODERATOR NOTE: general road reports are not accepted, unless the road is NOT passable, and results in a detour of 2 hours or more. Please add to OSM.

Beware, this is the worst road we had in south America after traveling for more than 6 months in Argentina, Chile, Brasil and Paraguay.
Even if the road looks fine at the begining, it has not been designed to evacuate water so there are multiple giant mud puddles and no way to avoid them. We got stuck with our 4x4 and were lucky a pickup was passing by to help us. We also broke and lost our engine protection in some of the mud puddles.
If you go too slow you will get stuck and too fast you might damage something.

This in the only way to reach the border with Argentina, you should go south to avoid it or cross through Bolivia, but be aware that there are a lot of police controls afterwards for cars coming from Bolivia. The border control was nice and easy, they told us that the road should have been build a few years ago, they are still waiting for it.
