Description

Incredible - absolutely worth the hype. Best parrilla we have had in 8 months of South America / our lives. The food, atmosphere and service were well worth it. Main cuts of meat are 250ish and sides 80ish. You could get away with sharing one cut of meat between 2, and then adding on some sides. If you feel like splashing out a little - go here for sure.
Normally open from 12 to 3pm and again from 8om

Like the other comments: great place to eat with good prices. We took (delicious) ojo de bife (490 pesos) and it’s enough for two. We had to wait 30 minutes but worth it! Definitely recommend.

Went at 8pm as expected it to be busy, had to sit outside as was fully booked but this was fine. Reasonable prices for quality, sides are enormous and dessert was great. service fantastic. Would recommend as a treat meal

It's no joke! Best steak since 3 month in Argentina. and it's trough, you have to order only one maindish for two persons and one side dish.

מסעדת הבשרים הכי טובה בברילוצה! כדאי להזמין מקום מראש או להגיע יחסית מאוחר

Great restaurant!!! Loving this iOverlander recommendations

Just read below. Best steak in South America so far. Was enough to share one slab of meat, we had the rib-eye, with a sausage and morcilla on the side. Portion of mash potato was enough to feed 4 not 2... We booked, just emailed reservas@altoelfuego.com.ar and got a reply quickly confirming our table. Do this to avoid disappointment.

Well never know what it tastes like because we showed up at 8:20 and it was full already and unless we were willing to wait 1h we could not eat there.

we are glad we followed ioverlander for this place, it was so good! we shared a steak for two it was absolutely enough! so wasn't so expensive after all (320 $ Ars Big and yummy steak for two). enjoy!

Probably the best Steak we have had in Argentina. Nice staff and ambiente.
Go there!

Great food !!! There is not much more to say. We highly recommend this place if you love meat made to perfection.

95% of the time my partner and I are vegetarian...this was part of our 5% and totally worth it. Really special treat. Not cheap, though - guess we’re wild camping tonight. And tomorrow. And the next day.

Wow! This was the best steak we've probably ever had! The grilled vegetables were also amazing, as was the Mousse de Limón.. neither of which were on the menu. Not sure how there's any question about sharing a meat serving between two.. the portions are huge! I guess you could skimp on the sides and just load up on meat, it would be worth it, but the sides are definitely worth trying as well. Ojo de Bife, papas fritas, grilled veges, mousse, and a bottle of Malbec: $740, and no regrets!
If anything, we probably didn't need the papas fritas.. you should really save the space for dessert.
Great service, great atmosphere.. we seriously considered going back to try the lamb..

Shut up and take my money ! One of the best steak i have ever had 😍

Closed from 3pm to 8pm everyday. Also looks like there's a brewery right next door but it was under construction when we were there.

Best steak we had in Argentina. One portion is 500grams and cost about 300pesos.

really incredible. One of the best steaks I have ever had, if not the best! One "portion" is 1 pound of meat, so definitely share between 2 to make this an affordable splurge meal! I highly recommend treating yourself

Absolutely epic, highly recommended! Ojo de bife, patatas, ensalada mixta and half a bottle of wine and water = 690. Not the cheapest, but the best! Very cosy atmosphere as Well and super friendly staff. Good WiFi
