Very nice spot to stay a little bit. Very quiet and no visibility from the road.
Better (quieter) to stay here than go and stay in real de Catorce in my opinion.
A little bit of AT&T cellular.

Great little spot. Hidden from road unless you are over 2m. A few coyote noises in the night otherwise complete silence. Bliss! A little road noise during day and evening but only quiet and not an issue at all. We cAmped in the bend of the trail so we had a clearing outside the door. Looks like no vehicles have been through here for a while. We were here in April and it got down to 12°C at night. Fine in the camper with a duvet and no heating. Humidity was a bonkers 7% whe we arrived. Up to 35% by morning.
Cell: 2 bars if slow Telcel 3G

good spot to wild camp on the way in or out of town. there are actually lots of pull offs all along the road and most seems not to be private (just look for fences or signs). quiet and cool at night. I'd pack up and leave early as traffic picks up again.

Report Check-In

This is a great, quiet stop for the night. The road in off the highway towards Real De Catorce is an impressively cobbled road, and although it is in great condition the ride is quite bumpy. The small dirt access road into the site was quite soft when we visited (May 2019), and could be a nightmare if it was wet. We were fine in our 2WD Savana, but we did feel ourselves sinking in a bit on the road. Heavier vehicles may run into trouble without 4WD.
The spot itself is a very small flat "clearing" was not much of a clearing on the right side of the path, just wide enough to fit our van. We were surrounded by cacti, agave, and shrub brush. The night was quiet and dark. We had no trouble.

Great spot! Remember me Baja California but cold at night! No noise, hidden from the road. The access road could be muddy if there is rain but you can find dry area.
