meadow camping was perfect even with high n/nw winds. get water from Rio Valdez on Ruta 3 about 2km west. plenty of spot all around and very clean. resident hawk will watch over you - do not leave out food please.

we stayed across the described place on the viewing point parking space. great view on the lake and protected from the wind. last visitor came at 6pm and in the morning we did not see any visitors. good accessible with 2wd. really loved this spot!

Great spot, we also went to the meadow on the other side of road and enjoyed no wind and beautiful fall colors, did not see anyone else the night we stayed.

very strong winds on the lake side but there is a big open meadow just 40 meters to the left with full sun and little to zero wind (no promises. highly dependent on the weather) Completely free!

Great very quiet spot. Plenty of other spot on the way. Sorry if I am repeating my german is basic. It is much more protected from the wind than spot close to lake shore as the wind comes from chile side of the lake.

There is access from the lake but really difficult from here. Great tent camping spot on other side of track.

No noise during night from main road.
