Description

Monthly rate (fall 2023) $700 CDN. I had serious concerns with other reviews and Google street view etc.. Was wondering what this place would be like. Turns out Stone Island is a GEM, they run cruise ship tours and hotel tours over to the island here for the more authentic Mexican charm. Even though that was great it concerned me until I realized that the restaurant next to use was closed at 6pm, and thus any noise or music also, gone. Water taxi to Mazatlan proper is walking distance from the park and is 20 pesos each way, there are two spots, one shuts down in the evening and one is 24 hour. Lots of restaurants, shops, just walk the back lanes in this safe little town there is EVERYTHING. Unless it's big box store type stuff you just gotta have, everything else is here. Although an ATM is a short drive out to the airport. There is gasoline and small tank propane here, the RV park can arrange a propane truck for Class A onboard fills. There was a loud Mexican wedding a few bars down one Saturday night, wow great music and fireworks, it went on into the night. There's quad rentals, horse back riding, jungle tour with lunch (5 hours), great restaurants, bars, beach vendors, water is safe to swim, sunsets are awesome. Humidity is high at first, but 50 amp power is clean and safe to run your AC and other devices. We camped at RV Park Tres Amigos in a Motorhome.

Latest Check-Ins

Only planned to stay for a night or two and wound up staying 5. $550 pesos per night for our van with full hook ups. Property is clean, owner speaks great English, showers were hot and clean, wifi pretty good, location is right on the beach. Vegetable/fruit truck comes every morning. Water in lines is treated with chlorine so we filled our tank - doesn't taste the best but we're assured it is clean. Water company also comes through every morning and will take and refill your 20l jug and bring it back the next day. We got the last open spot, seems a lot of people stay a long time and we can see why.

Awesome little Park Tres Amigos is RV park number one and King David is RV park number 2 they share common ownership and common community amongst the expats. it's a gem of a beach many tour operators come over from Mazatlan but due to the water taxi, things wrap up here by about 6:00 p.m.. We stayed here for 2 months in a 40-foot motorhome, the only late night noise are the weddings...

Nothing special about this spot except it’s right on the beach. Pricey, $550 pesos, for what you get. It’s a gravel lot with minimal shade. Basis bathrooms and showers. I’m here, so I’ll make the best of it.

Great beach. Nice park Tomorrow we will explore

Report Check-In

Decent place some nice people staying there. It's a little pricey for what you get essentially camping in a parking lot with no shade. The beach is pretty but ruined by the trash that people and the restaurants just leave all over the beach. This was easily rectified by doing a 15 minute beach clean one morning. After that I would spend 5 minutes cleaning up at sunset after the riff raff left. It would be nice if the campground would take the initiative to hang up some signs and keep the beach clean. Overall it's an OK deal being so close to Mazatlan. Supposedly in high season you can't get a spot here but in June it was basiclaly empty.

Only RV park near Mazatlan, with a beautiful beach. Quiet weekdays but super busy on week-ends: bikes, dunebuggy’s, horses, ATT’s on location. Pricey at 475 pesos/night. Wifi is fast. Showers are hot but not clean. We did not use them because of that.

Report Check-In

Great place! Love the miles of quiet beach to stroll. Enjoy the restaurants and proximity to town. Great amenities.

Spent a week here and it was hard to leave. Excellent RV park (parks, there are two, Tres Amigos and King David) right on the beach, full hook up, fast Wi-Fi, manager José speaks English. The beach is fantastic, you can see both the sunrise and sunset. I didn't use the showers but didn't hear any complaints. Went to Mazatlán to check out the other RV parks and nothing compares! If you want to camp in the Mazatlán area, this is the place to be. Lots of cruise tourists on the beach especially on the weekend. Only drawback is driving into Mazatlán, takes close to an hour as you have to go all the way around, but you can hop on to the small ferry boats with your bicycle to get to the city. The restaurants on the beach all close at sundown, but if you go into the village there are restaurants and convenience stores open all evening. Didn't need the AC on at all, nights were nice and cool, but with the windows open, after a week, my RV was full of dust. Bring bug spray, there are mosquitos at sundown and in the morning. Great place for big rigs.

Report Check-In

Nice RV park right on the beach, very friendly service from Jose. Wifi works but a little slow in our site. Water pressure is good and 50 amp power at site. Electrical is an extra charge above the $400 per month for the site Jose stated that it is 18 cents per Kilowatt. Pay by the month or for the whole season. Very clean and secure.
