Entrando do Peru para o Equador, nos solicitaram no Equador Certidao Antecedentes criminais e tbem esse documento apostilado.Hoje domingo só conseguimos a certidão de antecedentes pela Internet. Aí pro documento apostilado entramos em contato com a embaixada brasileira no Equador, mas ainda não responderam e também com um cartório no Brasil. Então tente vir com esses documentos prontos já pra não ter essa dor de cabeça. Esperamos resolver isso na segunda-feira e entrar no Equador.

We get our TIP in 20 minutes. Very calm and easy. The checked our car very short and we were allowed to keep all vegtable and fruits.

TIP was easy to get, girl there was friendly and efficient. During the brief inspection they said fruit wasn’t allowed, but then let us take it anyway. I gave them a few bananas.

**Also, watch out for goats in the road as you drive south from here!**

You need to buy insurance first before came here,the insurance place was quite hidden, it's not just on the side of the road. We asked around to find the place then come back to Aduana. It would be super fast but the old guy here spent 1 hour asking and talking about our family tree. But he was nice manbe just a bit bored I think.

Quick inspection of the van. Found fruits and vegetables but since they were only for our consumption and not for resale, it was no problem.

We came to Aduana at 6 pm. Very fast - only 20 min to get the TIP including a very short look in our camper.

Easy and fasts. The woman's staff of customs was very friendly. The only "problem" is that they had the car registration with the old owner, but they solved it quickly (we are from Chile and apparently they have the information not updated in the system)

Único "problema" es que tenían el registro del auto con el antiguo dueño, pero lo solucionaron rápido (somos de Chile y al parecer tienen la información no actualizada en el sistema)

We passed thru this border in late afternoon and after the Aduana guys issued us a TIP we asked if we could camp in the open dirt area next to their shed. They said no problem and we had a relatively quiet night, only a few wandering goats and pigs.

Not very nice staff. Started asking me a lot of questions, checking every document and trying to find or make some problems. Took more than one hour.

the police and the duana at the peruan side are totaly corupted, just be carefull and everythings will be fine, one of my bags have been stollen here.

We expected a time consuming process as SUNAT to process the TIP as it had been suspended and the suspension cancelled. This was all done according to the rules, but we didn't have the updated TIP yet. Due to excellent support of the travel agent ([email protected]) who helped with this complicated process we were through in 20 minutes.
