A ranger came by in the morning and told us wildcamping is not allowed in the national park. Not even within refugio grounds.

Great view on Osorno Volcano. Not easy to find a flat spot. Some people coming for the sunset, which was really amazing! But after we were all alone, very quiet night.

We pitched our tent next to the concaf hut, the ranger said at like 11 at night we are not allowed to camp, because its a National Park, he let us stay the night though under the condition that we leave in the early morning. But staying in a big RV on the parking lot seems to be fine.

Amazing wildcamp spot! We came and it was full with clouds. We couldnt see anything. After 2 hours the sky cleared and we had one of our best sunset and a sky full with stars. Wifi doesnt work on this level.

No facilities.

One of our best bivouac. The view with the sunset is amazing! The wifi is working at the cafeteria. Nice short hike to crater rojo.

Sooo beautiful view!!! Indeed it was a cold night but we were lucky with the weather. The cairlift still costs 16000.- pp but it’s absolutely worth it. The guardsparque came by for a little smalltalk and officially allowed us to stay in the night.

we've spent all the evening on the clouds and in the morning we've seen the lake but it was still cloudy and we haven't seen the top of the volcanos
for information the wifi is ok (still the same pw)

Endroit magnifique on a dormi au niveau du garde (Conaf) c était juste magique! On a fait la randonnée du volcan rogo avec 2 enfants de 7et 8 ans c était trop bien!

Ótimo local para passar o dia é a noite. A vista é fantástica. Vale a pena passar a noite. Ficamos próximo à lanchonete com acesso ao Wi-Fi que apesar de lento nos atendeu.

Good place to spend the day and nigth. Wonderfull view. We stayed just in front of snack Bar and easy possible to use the very slow Wi-Fi but it helped us to basic needs. We recomend. [Password removed by moderator.]

Beautiful view, very quiet night halfway up the Osorno. Very exposed to weather and wind. There is no longer Wifi at the Cafeteria of the Chair Lift. The whole thing looked very closed in summer.

There is wifi 50m down and the Refugio Teski. It doesn't reach up to the parking lot though. The Refugio is a good place for a nightcap-pisco sour.

Quiet a long/steep climb to reach. Big weather exposed parking lot. Good WIFI at the restaurant.
Stayed during daytime. Incoming wind, clouds and cold made me go down again before nightfall.

Nice spot to see the sunset on the lake. The volcano is often less cloudy during the night, perfect to enjoy it :) we were lucky, not to windy when we slept there but it could be. The wifi on the cafeteria didn't work (just in case, psw : 12345678)

Nice place to spend the night (beautiful sun set). We used the toilet and free WiFi in the nearby café.

the street up here is in best condition!
very nice spot. awesome view and sunset, but very windy tonight.
the power-wifi is not open anymore, i guess you had to ask for the key

A magical location to spend the night! We spent the evening here in the big carpark by the cafeteria with two other overlanders. Beautiful views across the lake, brilliant sunset and an incredible sunrise. We could even stream Netflix in our van when parked at the bottom of the steps to the cafeteria!! Perfectly quiet at night (and quite chilly too). All in all, a top free camping spot!

We camped in the large lot at the top. When the mist came over it felt totally remote, and then a gust of wind would clear the cloud and this magnificent volcanic peak and pokes out. It's really magical. Great views of the countryside and lakes. Very glad we came here. Toilets available in the cafeteria when they are open. Fast open WiFi is being pumped out of the cafeteria too.

We didn't stay at the refugio Teski but we went more up and stayed on the parkinglot of the cafetaria. Very windy and cold so i don't think it's suitable for cooking on a stove outside! We stayed 1 night, wanted to go up with the telesillas but the first one was closed so we didn't do it! (cafetaria opens at 10.30, telesillas at 11)

We did not sleep here, but it is worth the drive just for the view and the journey up the volcano. Our dogs had fun romping in the snow. There is a warm restaurant here also.

Camping in the car park right on this de of the volcano. Great views if there are no clouds both of the volcano and the lake. Quite a lot of tourists during the day but quiet at night. Free

Big parking area (end of dead end) at the base of the chair lift. Spectacular views towards the volcano, the lake, the surroundings. Cold nights.
