Description

**We could not find this place, there was no blue gate on the main road***

Is a huge estate where the river crosses, there is a large plot of land with grass to put the tent and park. There is also electricity, light and bathrooms. The river is 15 meters from where it is camping and it is great to cool off. The owner is a very friendly person. To get there you have to cross the river but it is not deep and there is no sign from the road that indicates the place, there is only a green gate and you have to enter. The price is at will and according to what you fix, also sells beer and water

Report Check-In

The green gate, on the left after the bridge if heading south, is a bit tricky to find. Dimitri, the owner, just happened to be coming through the gate as we arrived. We crossed a small, hard bottomed river and parked up on the grassed bank on the other side, next to a covered area with tables and chairs stacked underneath. There is a flushing toilet and power. Dimitri educated us on the edible fruits of the cacoa and guama trees and gave us oranges and mandarins from trees that surround the parking area, and then we he took us for a trek around this lovely property the next morning. There is an abundance of birdlife and we even saw a sloth. We paid 20K for the night and then 10k as we left for his incredible hospitality.
