Good spot with plenty of flat grassy areas. Easily accessible with 2WD. We were alone and no car passed by. No phone signal.

Nice spot, easy to access from the road in our small van. We arrive at night so we did not enjoy the river. Both grass and stones

I camped here with my 7.5t Truck. Close to the river, but far enough from the mainroad, little track leads down to the grassy/stony riverbank.

Super nice place! We put our tent on the grassy area next to the river/stones. No other people there, just some locals when we arrived but they left in the evening. Amazing for a morning swim!

Wooden bridge is blocked but there is a new bridge you can cross. On the other side you can find flat ground to park beside the river. You can hear the highway but much better than a roadside turnout.

Great spot! We stayed here for the night. We crossed the bridge and slept on the other side. We would recomemd not to cross the bridge. The side by the main street has more beutiful places.
For all fischer in here I have good news i fished a 40cm trucha out of this river. Good luck guys!

Very nice and flat area at the river. Quite a few cars passing, but nobody seems to mind. Great view.

You can basically camp almost anywhere along the river (on both sides) north of the bridge. Plenty of flat and grassy spots to go around. Good for big rigs as well.

Oh man! Thank you for sharing this spot! We loved it! It’s 300 mts of the main road, leaving the bridge on your right.

We spent two nights here, a gorgeous spot down by the river with fire pits and beautiful scenery. Without any light pollution, the view of the stars is incredible! Drive down the stone track from road level to access the grassy area next to the river

Great place to wild camp on grassy area down by the river. Quite hidden and beautiful view.

Report Check-In

Camped just down the road across the river from the listed Rio Mañihuales wild camp. Seemed a bit nicer with less car traffic. Beautiful free spot to park for the night right on the river. No amenities or established spots - just look for a good place and pull off the road :)

Report Check-In

Nice spot just over the bridge. Not hidden, but nobody bothered us and only a few cars passed by.

Report Check-In

Go 30 meters north along the river from the bridge camp spot and you'll find a grassy area below the river bank that affords a little more privacy. It had a fire pit and you can drive down to it. Beautiful scenery and fell asleep to the sound of only the river.

Report Check-In

Wild camp next to river off main road. Not hidden at all if that is important to you, next to farms off small dirt road, not much privacy, but fine for car campers. Very nice view of snow capped peak and good fly fishing river. Tents could be set up here if needed. Super quite at night, zero noise and traffic.
