Good place to stay overnight after/before visiting the salt cathedral. Quiet and save, cause there is 24h security (army and securityguy from cathedral). The town is also very nice with some bars at the main Plaza. Friendly locals!
You can also stay at the parking lot inside the cathedral area, but then it costs 5000 a day.

We ask the security at the entrance of the salt cathedral how overlook this place, hi sad now problem park here for the night.just a small parking place, but quiet at night

Report Check-In

Parking lot in front of the Museum. Surprisingly quite during the night. We were allowed to use the restroom of the nigh guard.

Report Check-In

Quiet night except for pne truck at 5am. I talked to the security at the entrance to the cathedral and had no problems

The museum director don't wont RV anymore. Was ok for us but tried to push us out. Finally was a guard who said we can stay for free.

Report Check-In

Free. No facilities. Talked to a young girl at the museum who said it was fine but made sure to introduce ourselves to new security guard when we returned from dinner. Felt very safe despite no gate.

Safe overnight stay. The guard of the entrance to the salt mine area had an eye on us during the night, very friendly. Quiet night, free.

Report Check-In

Good spot. Guards were great. Don't bother with the extra mining tour unless you're 10 or under! The town is fantastic with great restaurants and main square.

The guard at the entrance of the Salt Cathedral also suggested us to park and sleep here. We were under his watch for the entire night since the shack is overlooking the parking lot. It was a peaceful and good night. You can plan on staying here if you want to see the ginormous salt mine cathedral thingy! This thing is an underground city with four layers spanning half a millennia! Now looks a bit more like a shopping mall mining tourist pockets. But still!

Report Check-In

Safe, not too noisy, close to the main square and next to the Catedral de la Sal. Free.

The lady here told us we could not park here for the night. We did not come back after they were closed to talk to the security, so it may be a different story if you talk to them. There is no gate that I saw. We stayed down the street in a secured lot behing a restaurant.
