Description

Basically the same stretch of beach as the abandoned restaurant, just a little farther South. The biggest difference is that we accessed the beach on a little road crossing through the palm tree farm, without having to go all the way to the end of the beach, then back up.

The road showed up on our map, we drove past a little farm. We waved at the man sitting outside and he waved and smiled back.

The road's a little sandy, and the beach is too sandy for 2wd rigs. Our friends got stuck (multiple times) in their VW Bus. We just towed them to camp. :)

GPS marks where the little road we took comes out onto the beach.

Amazing! Miles of Beaches just for yourself! The access road others used was gated when we did go there but we drove a little bit further and took the access road to the shrimp farm (there is a sign on the main road). At the shrimp farm we just asked if we can drive through to the beach which was no problem. Some tractors and ATVs every now and then, for the rest you are alone on the beach. There is a shipwreck further South where we walked to for some nice sunset pictures. Felt very safe. Due to the sand I would only attempt it with 4x4.
We suggest to "pay the rent" through picking up some trash 🙂

Dream location!
I got in straight from the coconut plantation, the first portion of the trail has been reworked, then it's tall grass and as you get closer to the beach you have the option to go left of right. On the right is a hut on stilts with a big caravan so I went left. You have miles of empty coastline to choose from. The sand is very soft, so be careful if you don't have a 4WD. Super safe, just a few people driving on the shoreline. In the morning a farm worker stopped by on an ATV to pull some weeds out. Super friendly, he didn't even look at the van until I came out to say hi.
A few sandflies but nothing crazy, just more at sunrise. Pretty place, one of my favorite spot to camp!!

This was a great place to camp when taking the ferry from the Baja.

The sand was a non issue when we visited and I would suggest that if you are confident driving in sand (4x4, good tires and high clearance) don’t be discouraged by this place.

When we were here we saw a lot of people and no one seemed to care that we were here. there were:
- two tourists enjoying the beach who seemed to use the same access road as us
- eight or so ATV’s driving back and forth by the tide (possibly from a resort North of here)
- one Jeep with a trailer and many local men driving by the tide
- three tractors driving by the tide
- eight or so horses with a trailer accessed the beach before sunrise using the same access road as us.

We felt safe here.

Beautiful stretch of beach. We camped here after taking the ferry over from La Paz. It felt safe but you’re in the open and there were no other campers along the beach when we were here. We checked out the other spots near here as well. 4G with Telcel.

Very beautiful place. We took the shortcut by the farm. Some soft patches. The mosquitos were very mean. Farmers are nice.

Great spot, easy access. But do not try to drive over to the actual beach if you don't have another 4x4 vehicle to pull you out if (when) you get stuck.

We are the friends who got stuck. But luckily running from Monday was able to drag us over the beach and even point our sliding door towards the sea.
It is a quiet and beautiful place with coconut trees in the back and the deep blue ocean in the front.
