You park in a lovely field that you share with horses. Clean bathrooms, cold showers and bit of shade. Easy access off the highway. We tried to get up a very steep hill to another campground but couldn’t make it. 20,000

Report Check-In

good place to park, a little noise from the main road, slow wifi

Report Check-In

Good place to spend the night large hotel parking, wifi not very good

Manuel the owner is really friendly. You can set a tent under a roof zone or free on the grassy field. He has also Rooms for rent.

Every kind of RV possible there are no high or wide restrictions. Also power outlets (110 Volt ) at the sitting area.
There are basic toilets and cold showers but its clean.
Its rain a lot and we stuck at the grassy field. So be careful where you park.
Walking in the town is only 20 minutes and maybe 45 minutes uphill to the archeological parc.

Wifi we didn’t used and for Potable water we don‘t know.

We paid for 2 people in our Motorhome 20.000 COP in total.

Report Check-In

We stayed two nights here.
Very good location: short walk down into town, 30min walk up the hill to the archeological park.
Toilets and showers are simple but clean. WiFi worked well for us.
Manuel is a very friendly and helpful person.
We paid 25.000 per night for 2 persons in a campervan.

Report Check-In

Good place near to town (walking distance). COP25.000/car. Manuel is very friendly and helpful. Good for big rigs and ideal place for tents COP 8.000/ person.

Report Check-In

central location halfway town and archilogical site. no wifi, dirty toilets, cold water showers. 40000 for 2 nights. nice owner and family just a shame they do not keep the toilets clean.

Report Check-In

paid 8000 cop per person per night. cold shower. kitchen can be used but it is not very clean... there is WiFi but only behind the kitchen.

Report Check-In

Excelente lugar. Alejandra magnífica anfitriona. terreno plano, silencioso, cercano a la zona arqueológica y restaurantes. No encontré el wi-fi. Vine con mi perrita y convivió con los amistosos caninos lugareños.

Report Check-In

Super friendly and most of all helpful host. When we were about to leave a pump in our camper had a failure. I tried to fix it myself but damaged a fuse. Then the host took his bike and went to town and returned with a new fuse. But the problem was still persistent. Then he called his brother who is an electrician and he identified the loose connection and solved the problem. Wonderful.
They also have a laundry service.

Came here in a van and the price is now 20,000. WiFi barely works so don't count on getting anything productive done. Super friendly owner tells you all about San Augustine. Cold showers and toilets with TP and a seat! nice place.

Report Check-In

Very nice place to camp with animals and guava trees. We were offered a place for our tent for 20k but got it for 15k after a very short negociation.

They have a cold outdoor shower, facilities are fairly clean, we even have WIFI in our tent and we can use the kitchen. The owners are very nice. The archaeological park is quite close, about 30 minutes of walking, and it's about 10 minutes to the supermarket of San Agustín.

We really recommend to do a horse trip to nearby archaeological sites. Just ask the owners, they have their own well-kept horses and can provide you with caskets if you ask for them. Including the guide and entrance fee to one site the tour cost us 128k for 2ppl. Yes, you can probably get it cheaper somewhere, but those horses are in a really good shape.

Report Check-In

We camped here for two nights. No problem to find flat spot for a tent. The owner Manuel charged us 7.000 COP per person (he gave us a discount as we are cyclists). Quiet. Cold shower (inside/outside), wifi was average, but works also at the tent (the best wifi spot is next to the outside oven).

Report Check-In

Cold shower
Wifi ... was ok to watch Youtube at same time. Then totaly went out.
Nice folks running the place.
Italien restaurant down the street is REALLY good. Like Italy!!! (No Pizza!!!!!!!!)

Report Check-In

Basic campsite. We paid 8000pppn in the tent. They also have cabanas for 50000 for a matrimonial with private bathroom.
The campsite is soso. Nice setting but there is only one toilet(without seat). There are three showers without shower head. Wifi was ok.
Lots of roosters and dogs around, didn't sleep much...

Report Check-In

Hosts are friendly. Grassy area is muddy and slick. Wifi non-existent. Cold shower only.

Report Check-In

Wide open grassy campground. Outlets available for up to two vehicles with long extension cords. Amicable host, cold showers and weak wifi signal. Roughly five minute walk into town and 2km from the ruins.

We paid 25,000 for two people, camping in our car.

Report Check-In

Beautiful, large, grassy site, 10 minutes walking from town and 30 minutes from excavation.

Report Check-In

This was a good camping option, they have power (you need a long lead), and water is available too with a long hose. The camping was very popular so there were a lot of people staying there that made the wifi slow, but late at night it was fast. It's very hard to find a level space here. So you will need leveling blocks or some wood. It's walking distance to several restaurants and it's a pretty social environment.

Report Check-In

Good, basic but very nice camp area. Pay 30.000COP for five in a RV.

Report Check-In

Basic campground close to ruins. Only cold showers. 20k without and 25k with electricity for two. Watch the grassy area after rain as it can be soft soil making exit difficult for larger vehicles.

Report Check-In

20 COP for two people and a van. Not a very flat campsite but friendly owner.

Report Check-In

Very welcoming host 8kCOP/p/n, horse rides around the sites can be organised we paid 120kCOP for 3 people (4 horses including guide). Breakfast can be arranged for 5k/p. Large open area with power if needed. 4wd required if wet.

Report Check-In

Lovely owner! 20.000 COP for two people and a car. Rustic, but clean toilets and showers! Good wifi. Grassy area, a little muddy if it rains. Beautiful view. Fireplace. Sink for washing dishes outside. Sweet dog, Martin :) Oh and the Parque arqueologico is closed on Tuesdays.

Report Check-In

Small campground close to the town. Nice place to camp. It's possible to arrange tours to the archeological sites.

Report Check-In

Nice camping. Short grass hill. Not to leveled.

Report Check-In

A wonderful place to park the camper. Close to town, with a lovely view and very nice people running the camping.

Report Check-In

Big grassy area for camping. The owner is very friendly and helpful. It is a 30 minutes walk to the archeological site.

Report Check-In

Great place to camp. little gazebo with concrete pad that has a light and power. great for doing moto maintainance. owners are very friendly and bring treats! 8000cop

Report Check-In

As everybody has said except for the noise. Between the dogs and local roosters it can get noisy. 10000 per person

Report Check-In

Owner hasn't created level hard area yet so a bit of a slope, otherwise it's all good as per previous comments.

Report Check-In

8k with motorcycle, large slightly uneven camping area with friendly management. Cold shower and bathrooms. A little noisy perhaps but as you'd expect being close to town.

Report Check-In

Good camping, 20.000 pesos p car with 2 person. 500 meters of center.

Report Check-In

Camping area was pretty wet, but our big camper negotiated the lawn OK. There is currently no flat ground for vehicles and I needed about 6" to get level sideways, but owner is currently bringing in fill to create a fairly large hard-standing area.
Wifi is reasonably fast, but we are the only ones here.
Electricity is the usual flakey set-up with no ground connection.

Report Check-In

A great location, plenty of room for tents and motor homes, electric only at palapa. If you're looking for a good meal check out Pepe Nero Italian restaurant turn left at the end of the drive, it's on the right a few meters towards town.

Report Check-In

nice place to stay. very helpful and friendly owner family. we stayed for 3 nights. cold outdoor shower ;-)) close to the ruins. good wifi !

Report Check-In

8,000 per person per night for motorcycle tent camping. Laundry service with washing machine available. Three toilets and three showers plus an outside shower. The electrical outlet is at the shared palapa. Easy walk to town and good restaurants nearby. In rain the grassy camping field can get slippery but not really muddy because of all the grass. They have rooms and cabins too.

Report Check-In

20000COP for 2 people per night. Nice staff, clean bathrooms, wifi and walking distance to ruins and town.

Report Check-In

Friendly welcome, quiet night, WiFi, simple sanitaries. We didn't use the cold showers. 20.000 COP for 2 persons.

Report Check-In

We were charged 10k per person (20k total for 2 people). Super COLD showers! Wifi was good.

Report Check-In

15k COP for two people for one night. Ground was a bit muddy but plenty of space here. Helpful owner who can arrange tours to the archaeological sites if you are interested. A bit noisy due to proximity to town. Lots of other camping options nearby. Owner offered to run electricity out to our camper but we didn't need it. They have some areas to grill and spots for camp fires.

Report Check-In

Large grassy field. Unfortunately, the heavy rain made it very muddy. Ok toilets and very cold showers. We paid 15'000 COP per night. Free wifi.

Report Check-In

- 15.000 COP for the two of us
- wifi
- laundry (wash mashine) for about 10.000 COP (we had a lot of dirty clothes)
- nice parking on a large grassy area
- not exactly level, but close enough and the owner has some pieces of wood to borrow to level your vehicle
- walking distance to the Archeologic Park (about 20 minutes uphill)

Report Check-In

Good overnight place, toilets and showers available. Quiet at night. WiFi COP 12,000. -

Cross the village, towards archaeological site, on the right, signposted.

Report Check-In

Camping on a large grass field, palapas, cold showers, clean toilets and free WIFI. Very nice owner. We first had a look at the Finca El Maco (N 76.27995 W 1.89206 20,000 COP), however, didn't find a level spot for our car. At the vegetarian restaurant "Tomato" (1.88489 N 76.27400 W), very close to the campground, you can buy excellent German pan integral (1.5 kg for 8,000 COP).

The site is a good starting point to visit the archaeological sites of San Augustin (10,000 COP / person).
