Had a few things stolen after mistakenly leaving them out (under our van) overnight.
Lots of paid toilets and showers around

We parked here during the day to explore by boat the villages around the lake. No problem. Free. We prefered to sleep at the football field it seems more quiet.
Report Check-InGreat, nice and safe place. We park the car here down a tree so that the light of the street and then the sun doesn't hit us so hard.
We parked for four days. First night we slept there. The next two night we slept in san pedro and we left the car here. Last night we slept here again. As there is always street light and a hotel, we felt really safe. During the day you are just steps away from lot of places to eat and bathrooms. If you walk down the earth road you will be on the shore in a place for parapentes (parachutes?). Amazing place to be on the lake where some people fish in an artisan way.
full on Sundays until sunset after that was quite empty. Had a quiet and safe night.
Close to public boats area and markets
We stayed 6 nights here, we were at the end 4 campervans. Firstly it was safe and police came each night but the last day, a man tried to robb the bicycle of one of the campervan it's wake them so they ran him and we find back the bicycle. We call the police they came fastly and made a tour. But instead of that it's near the center. Lots of people in the week end
Report Check-InWe stayed two nights. It was very quiet and the police came by regularly we felt safe. A tuk tuk driver advised us to stay here rather than go to the soccer field due to safety. We were directly in the center on foot. Free
Report Check-InNice parking lot, very big parking spots! We felt safe, police was checking. Leveled and good cell phone coverage.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the upper lot in front of Paradise Inn. We arrived on Sunday and it was packed, we have not seen so many people in one place in a very long time. We had to pay 100q to Paradise Inn to park in their lot until 7pm when they said we would have to be out. At 7 there was only 1 spot we could move to and we had to watch the lot to ensure we found a spot. It was loud until 10:30p and then complete silence. The next day was less crowded, but this is still a busy place. We left out truck and camper all day to visit the other towns and had no issues. Cell coverage is good here.
Report Check-InNice parking felt safe. Left a quatzel on the hood it remained till morning. Asked for the WiFi at hotel paradise they said no problem!

Check with the paraglider organiser where is best to park. Tens of gliders land each day.

Leave nothing outside vehicle after dark to avoid petty theft.
Safe and super convenient for town.

The hotel wifi password has changed and I forgot to write it down but we found it on the other side of the reception.

Report Check-InSpacious parking area close to town, by the river, lake views. Level, sunny, windy. Bearable smells of burning rubbish and sewer (that's the river).
Only safety factor is the hotel entrance near by. Deserted at night. No police in sight.
Quiet from 20-6h, but a lot of noise in the morning (guys shouting, looking into the vehicle, engines running, people chatting, the usual). Weekends busy.
Toilets around (charge) during daytime.
