Description

Overlanders have ruined this place by leaving trash and human waste so the land owners have ended allowing people to park here. Way to go people. This is why people don't put nice spots, because people don't know how to respect the land.

surf farm sent me a message saying they will take legal action against all the people who park there from now on. I don't know if they can enforce it but that's what they said. overlanders have been trashing the place, leaving trash and causing disturbances.

Report Check-In

we checked out the place, but there is everything privat or business land. Not a good idea to be here with a camper or motorhome.

Lovely spot (if you can find it!) The Surfarm hostel is well signposted from the main road, but once you enter the track there are no further signs, so we had to do a bit of trial and error! Once you've taken the turn from the main road, look for a large farm shed type building on the right and turn in here (it looks like you're entering a property but it's actually the road down to Surfarm and the beach). It is, as described before, an informal car park. No facilities but it is directly on the beach and it's great to sleep with sound of the surf and watch the lovely sunset. Very quiet and safe as it's off the Beaton track.
Some folks from Surfarm came onto the beach at sunset and had an impromptu performance by a guy with guitar which we joined, all very cool and relaxed. Few cars parked during the day (beach goers, fishermen) but they all left and we were the only ones there overnight.
Great spot for a night. Free of charge.

this is a pseudo parking lot to a semi private slash unknown beach just outside Pichalemu. There is a hostel called Surfarm just a minute walk from this "parking lot" where you can chill and take a shower. this" parking lot" is nothing more than just packed down sand on the beach. we've been here twice over the the last two years and love it. meters from the ocean, beautiful views of the stars and no where near the main road. leaving Pichalemu south, follow the sign for surfarm and just drive past it to the ocean. you'll love it here. no facilities, but you can use the hostel for whatever you need. great spot don't miss
