Noisey Saturday night with OHVs, loud music and gun shooting. Wouldn't recommend on the weekend

Was a nice quiet night sleep. We got in after dark so didn’t go in too far but there were several level areas near the entrance.

No one bothered us. There were maybe 4 other people we could see when we went to sleep.

Great BLM open desert area. Slash X Ranch Bar 1/4 mile from camp. You can see it from here. Big circles for large groups. Lots of off road trails!

Its ok for one night but when its windy, it is really windy! Didnt hear too much activity from OHVs but it might have been too windy for them too!

It was pretty loud because of all the ohv's, lots of tracks too. But it's ok for 1 night on the way, and free

Open desert next to offroad vehicle tracks right off I-15. If you just want to camp, stay away from the tracks or you'll be covered in dust.
A little dusty and noisy due to the racers (went around from 8-23h). Apart from that it's a good spot, free, spacious, sunny, mostly level. Convenient stop on I-15 south of Barstow.

Very large dirt lot right off the interstate just outside of Barstow. A few big rigs scattered throughout the lot, but there's plenty space so it's easy to find a semi-secluded spot. This place is perfect for an overnight stop if you're passing through. It's quiet and dark enough. There are no facilities, but it's a comfortable place to stop for the night.
