Description

You can camp in the parking lot. A horse drawn train car can take you to the 3 Cenotes. We didn't stay here but asked about camping and they said it was fine (and free). Not many amenities but they do have a snack stand and bathrooms (shower and toilets without doors)
The area is guarded at night..

Excelente destino para conocer, descansar y pasar un buen tiempo, cuenta con amplio parqueo, servicios sanitarios y duchas, además hay agua para recargar y es muy seguro y tranquilo por las noches.

its 800 pesos per cart now. The ride was cool and the cenotes very beautiful. The place is good for one night. Unfortunately the dogs barked a lot during the night, other than that a peaceful place.

We arrived at 8am and had all 3 cenotes to ourselves. We only started seeing other visitors on our way back to the parking area. 2 of the cenotes are among the best you’ll see in Mexico , the other one is ok but nothing special. The horse ride takes about 25 minutes each way.

Personally we didn’t find it scary, albeit by Mexico standards. I think it depends on the driver. Our driver was very friendly and I’m sure would have slowed down if we had asked.

Definitely recommend doing this trip, a bargain at 600 pasós per cart.

We didn’t stay here.

Toilets were ok, if a little dirty.

Good spot for a night. Horse train carts are dangerous, wouldn't go again.

Very large car park and free to stay. The cenotes are very awesome and amazing to swim in. Still 600pesos for a horse cart, you can bring your dog on the cart, but dogs can't go down to the cenotes.

We took the first cart at 8:45AM and had all three cenotes to ourselves. Unfortunately on the way back the driver was going too fast and at a slight corner the cart derailed and flipped over. We (a couple) the driver and our dog got ejected onto the tracks and the cart landed on me pinning me down. We got away with some pretty bad bruises and scrapes from landing on the tracks, but were luckily we didn't get seriously injured.

Go at your own risk! Or at least ask the guy to go slow. The train track is super janky and these carts can derail very easily, usually not a problem at lower speed, but when the horse is galloping and you could derail and flip.

Company refunded us our money and was very apologetic, sounds like it happens more than they make out.

We stayed 2 nights here for free, very quiet and nice people, lots of firefly‘s in the evening.
Still 600 MXN for up to 4 person‘s per cart

We spent one night here after visiting the cenotes. Very quiet, some dogs barking early morning but peaceful night. Free.

price is now 600 pesos per cart (up to 4 people) which makes this a bit steep, but camping is still free. the cart ride is fun and the cenotes really pretty, so in the end we still enjoyed it. You get 30-45 minutes per cenote which seems fine. we were lucky to be rather late in the day with nobody there, but the guide said the light is definitely much better in the morning. so I guess it's a tradeoff between pretty pictures or less crowds. opening hours 8-16, but they still did a tour with us at 16:30 when we asked.

Very cool place we share a tour with on other couple. And we paid 100 pesos each 400 total. If you are only 2 just get here early and wait for another couple to share the ride

We camped two nights at this parking lot but it doesn’t look like a parking lot. It’s more a grassy field and big enough so you are not to close to the food stand and trolleys. Cold Showers and toilets for free and they have doors now. Camping is also free. It’s a quiet area during the daytime and at night, except some street dogs barking in the first night.
The Cenotes are really nice! All good for swimming and crystal clear water. People are very nice and calm, not pushy at all. Tour was 400 pesos for one trolley, we were 4 people and a dog. Really liked this place.

We stayed here for 1 night.
We went to visit the 3 cenotes with the little train. We paid 400 pesos for 4 people. It is the same price for 1 to 4 people but you need to arrive the 4 people together otherwise you can not share ! You can not negocaiye the price anymore I guess, the new price is 400 and not 300.
We asked to sleep on the parking and they said we were welcome for free. People are nice, there are some women making food during the day for cheap. The parking is big and accessible for everyone. 3G signal.

Didn't check in while there so I can't provide accurate coordinates so. Drive past the nice parking lot (current coordinates) until you see the horses and rail carts on the right. Parking all around and saves the moto taxi ride.
We arrived mid afternoon and there was a mess of people so we decided to wait until next morning. It was the right decision, we went at 8:15am and had the place to ourselves. We took our time and took pictures (didn't swim) and were done in about an hour. The regular tours take 3 hours.
We were planning on parking next to the church and Don Juanito, the caretaker, and Sra Julia, with the municipality, showed us a better place, the local basketball court. Clean, level, covered (cool) and with power AND free!

We did the tour for 400pesos for two people. It's suppose to be the same price for 1 to 4peoples. But they don't want that you share your "train" with other people if you don't arrive together, even after 15mn of negotiation.
The tour still a great moment and worth the money.

Stayed one night for free in the camping lot. An older guy was around over night taking care of the place I guess. Did the tour for 350 pesos which was great!

Report Check-In

camp free if you plan to make a tour next morning, absolutely worth the money, wonderful cenotes, get up early and you will have them all to yourselves! could take our dog with us, bit it was pretty loud at the railtrack

Report Check-In

It's a beautifull tour and only 300 Pesos (up to 4 people) for three hours. We arrived a monday at 2pm and there was just a few visitors. The cenote at the end of the railway was the best and very impressive. The first is a cavern, perhaps you like to bring your own flashlight for the darkness. Twice you have to climb steep ladder (the cavern and one cenote)! Snorkeling in the cenotes would be interesting too. We stayed for free on the parkinglot. Some barking guard dogs on the place.

Free camping (guarded at night). 300 pesos (1 up 4 persons) to visit the cenotes

Informal campsite if you visit the cenotes (300 pesos for 1 to 4 persons). There are showers and toilet without doors. The site is guarded at night

Report Check-In

We took the tour to the cenotes for 300 pesos shared by 4 people and stayed in the lot for two days for free. The old guy who attends the place at night could use a tip. The tour is well worth it and the horse railcarts are as fun as the cenotes. Highly recommend the visit.
