Description
Salomon and his son in law Noel are running this business. Salomon is a seasoned mechanic and indentified the problem in 10 seconds. Noel executed most of the work. The lubricentro storefront is on 22 de Augusto. Blue house north of the Repsol gas station. There is a bell on the door. He had parts delivered from Arequipa in 4h to fix my breaks. Pricing is very fair.

Report Check-InIt is the lubricentro north of the Repsol gas station on 22 de Augusto. Blue building. Salomon speaks English and Noel German. Makes for funny conversations :-) Great people. Very thorough and fair.
Report Check-InThe place was still at the wrong coordinates...its corrected now. "El Azul" still run by Salomon and his family. They changed our alternator - the new we had with us - and re-adjusted our new wheel bearing which ran hot. All in all reasonable prices, good work and nice people. Recommended!
Report Check-InVery knowledgeable mechanic, Salomon used to work in the US a long time ago! Speaks some English. He had are vacuum pump for our Jake brake rebuilt in Arequipa, we camped in his yard for 3 nights! He has a young mechanic doing the work but he supervised him the whole time. They also replaced our alternator (we provided the part) did oil and filter change on our Dodge Ram 3500 diésel. Highly recommended for all types of mechanical issues. Very low price!
Report Check-Inthis place was is the wrong location. it's next to repsol fuel. Salomon is very nice. charged 35 soles for 3 hours if work. he has a large lot any right can fit. it's a bit basic but they get it done!
Report Check-InSalomon and Irma are lovely people. Salomon is retired, but keeps his garage open for people he knows and.... is very eager to help overlanders. He's a creative and intelligent guy who speaks English!
The blue door will probably be closed but a simple (load) knock will give you access.
