Something not right?

Description

Super nice sheltered camping (4$) and cabañas and dorm (dorm from 7$) right outside the little village of Mompiche. The swiss owner Christian has created a little paradise for those wanting to stay close to beautiful nature but just a 5 min walk from restaurants, shops and waves.
There is a well equiped communal kitchen, surfboard rental, slackline, beautiful garden with fruits and herbs, hammocks and potable water (20l - 2$).
Access with 4x4 or caravan might be possible...
The most beautiful camping we stayed so far in whole south america and a very friendly and helpful owner!

Latest Check-Ins

'forgot ...we even asked for wires and the height. Our RV is 3.5m.

Report Check-In

Not Big Rig Friendly! Christian, the owner, 'forgot' that he has a finger thick electricity wire hanging at about 2,5m in his entrance. The result was a ripped of solar panel, extra money for the mecanico and one day of work for me. The owners only comment: 'U should have be more carefull'. Yeah, right. So... be aware when arriving with something bigger then 2.5m. All the rest: Avarage camping ground, grass, mosquitos and friendly volunteers.

good place to stay. staff were very helpful. 4 dollars for camping in tent. far enough out of town for the noise but short walking distance

Report Check-In

Great place. i couldn't stay in my tent because of its construction it needs a land to stand and Christian only allowes to camp on sheltered places with a floor. But i stayed in a dorm for 6$. It's cheaper and quieter then other places in Mompiche, and i was the only one in the room. Nice kitchen. Christian is very helpful.

Cool place, good facilities, lots of hammocks, lovely owner!

Report Check-In

Awesome peaceful camping away from the noise of Mompiche. Christian is a great host and always willing to help.

Report Check-In

The owner wasn’t in the country and his employees weren’t sure if we can stay in our truckcamper and send us away. The entrance was overgrown with trees and to enter we would have to cut a lot of tree branches. We moved on to find a different spot to camp.

beautiful camping with lots of nature around. waking up to the sound of birds, chicken, monkeys (and goose) ;) there are herbs like oregano, basil, lemongrass and chili to take for free. there are also two dogs and a cat.
5 minutes walk to town and the beach. just perfect!

great place to enjoy mompiche and the area and surfing ! little paradise with really nice garden (we saw tucans, colibris and others...) a nice shared kitchen, tables and hammocks. Christian, the owner is a really nice guy and made our stay perfect ! can go surfing with him.
we stayed in the camping area with our camper 4x4 for 4$pp/night. enough place for several campers. you can even use electricity from the cabana nearby. no height restriction. during rainy days it is asked not to move the car very often to preserve the grassy area. not a problem as village, beach and waves are just 5-10min walking ! pizza a la parilla on every saturday by Diego for 6$!! Perfect stay and really nice mood !
we recommend !
