Description

HOSTEL ONLY, no tent or RV camping.

Hot shower, fast WiFi, parking has shade. didn't ask for energy but sure it won't be a problem. Wifi reached the parking. Really chill vibe. outside the main city. safe. owner let me have my dog inside. his dog is friendly. a great find for being in Barlichole. Cheaper than camping with way better amenities.

We've been all around Bariloche searching for a place to shower and maybe park our Kombi during the night.
We saw the reviews here and went there.
Chino wasnt there. We spoke to a very nice and friendly staff wich called Chino on the phone.
He said only showers are not allowed, and If we wanted to park our Kombi It would cost 300 args pp/per night. Thats even more than all the expensive campings around. There was plenty space, only one trailer.
We didn't stay. Not so lucky as the previous ones.

We have been to the hostel to camp in off season but the owner offered us beds in dormitory for the same price. Moreover, we had the room just for us.
Chino, the owner is really nice, he took care about everything we needed. We stayed 4 nights, in a really nice ambiance : barbecues, shared meal...
To finish, a really nice view on the lake, and the beach is really near !
Don't hesitate, GO !

We paid 200pp with our camper (not really offseason for Bariloche).
Really nice owner, let me use his snowboardrepair stuff free of charge, chill vibe, nice employees.
we had an awesome Asado together, everyone threw in something.
He drove us to the 20 min walk supermarket :)
10% interest if you pay by card, so we payed cash. He gets it later than 30 days After, but 10 percent is ridiculous, just don't have the option than...
Not really suitable for (very) big rigs. There is tight corner to enter. But if you know your dimensions and turning radius, you will manage (we have 7 x 2,50 measurements, height (3m) wasn't a problem). If it snows, which it apparently rarely does down there, the exit might be hard with 2wd. Wifi depends on the number of users, but Most of the time it was really fast.
Only 2 showers and one of the bathrooms has no lock, but everyone knocked and we never had a lineup to use the shower after snowboarding. Bus stop right in front to get into town or to the ski resort, but you need to purchase and charge an e-ticket card first.
P.S.: partially heated floors.

The owner, Chino and his staff are super nice. We paid 350 pesos (two people, one van) to sleep in our van and have full use of the hostel (shower, toilet, kitchen, common room). He felt bad for us sleeping in our van in the cold so he let us sleep in the dorm for the same price!

He has also started a ski/snowboard hire store in the garage. Prices (in pesos) for ski or snowboard equipment:
1 day - $400
3 days - $1000
7 days - $2400
He also has ski/snowboarding clothes for hire for a reasonable price. Tell them Bel/James sent you and mention iOverlander and he'll give you a discount.
The place is a bit out of town but it's a super fun and friendly hostel. Rather than staying at an expensive and impersonal accommodation in town, I recommend you stay here and support the local guys!

stopped by on my way back up and it's a little quiet but he's dropped the price for the off season. $100p to sleep in your car, $200 to sleep in the hostel. you'll likely have a room to yourself for $200p since it's off season

Really chill vibe hostel. Good parking and super friendly owner. This spot is a bit off the city center but close to a rocky beach and a big supermarket is 1 km west.

The owner agreed to let me park in front and camp in my Kombi. He's super friendly, loves overlanders and his hostel is awesome. I paid 200arg in high season when the hostel was full and had full use of the hostel. Hot shower, fast WiFi, parking has shade. didn't ask for energy but sure it won't be a problem.
