Very nice place to spend a night on a big grassy place in front of an empty building (maybe except weekend). It's only the entry fee 40p per car.

Bike Tourers/Bikepackers: when you turn off the main road to this location heading up the volcano, turn left onto a rough dirt road double track that climbs gradually and curves around until you arrive on the ridge above the abandoned alburgue and there are a few wonderful tenting options with an amazing view of the volcano!
Report Check-InWe slept at the top but since we were sink we come here at the morning. This place is really nice and quiet, it is really better than the parking at the top.

Stayed here for one night. Beautiful place, very quiet. There are a lot barbecue places, you can stay direct next to the water. The police came around 11pm in the night and nockt on the door. They recommended that we should go to a hotel, here it is not so safe. We decided to stay, the police gave us them number in case, we need it. Had a safe night, in the morning the neighbor invited us, to use the toilet in his house.
Report Check-InStayed here one night, very quite and wonderful grassy area to stay. The police is in the "empty building". It was no problem to stay, the police came and said, if we need some help, we can just come to them.
Report Check-InStayed inside small building north of bug abandoned one. There are 4 bunks and not working shower/toilet (not smelly). It was around freezing temps and definitely was better inside.
There is a big bucket with rain water by the entrance to the main building.
Weak 3G telcel signal only outside
