Only good things about Pablo! We came to Coyhaique wanting to do a check on some alarm signals but actually broke our steering pump the day we arrived. Pablo took a look at our Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 the next day, stored our campervan at his home while we waited for the Amazon part to arrive and fixed it for a fair price:
- Changing the steering pump €220.000
- Change the multibelt $25.000
- Check our dynamo $15.000
- Multibelt $44.200
- ATF liquid $23.400

We took a plane from Balmaceda Airport meanwhile and visited Torres Del Paine. When we got back we could pickup the car and drive off. Great experience!

Very good mechanic! After pumping and dusty Carretera Austral , We had some issue with break system. They found out the problem and solve the problem in a very short time. Highly recommended! Look for Pablo tel +56984484274

We went there for some leak problem and are very satisfied with their services : they took a real look at what was going on and made sure it was fixed before letting us go (contrary to the mechanic we saw in Chaiten for the same problem). Would highly recommend this workshop !

We had a very bad experience here. One guy named Pablo took a 10 minute look at our car and reseted the warnings in the dashboard and told us the problem was solved for now and that we had to go to Puerto Montt to solve the problem. This cost us 30.000 pesos and we saw it disappear in his pocket. What an expensive place. We had to go to a few mechanics already which were really good but the last one in Argentina was unable to solve one of our problems because they did not have the part we needed in Argentina. But his guy explained us the problem in details but this mechanic in Coyhaique did not even understand the description of that problem. He told us that was not the problem but made up a totally new problem..

I had a good experience here with Pablo- maybe the owner? Not sure. He speaks some English. He scanned my car and test drove it to try and figure out a phantom electrical issue. All no charge. We couldn’t the problem to show itself while he was there but at least he ruled out some of the possible problems.

garage helped us with replacing a air suspension; the Toyota garage could do next week and several others couldn't help us either. this garage did it quickly although it is holiday season and for a fair price. recommendable!

This guys are very good. What I liked, they let you look over they shoulders. Experienced and nothing to hide. In Chile always try to see what they do ;-)

Felipe was very helpful. The Shop fixed my Eberspächer Diesel Heating System. I tryed to have it fixed at other places but didnt succeed!
Felipe and his Mechanics did a very good job! As they could not finish the work in one day they let me sleep in my car in the shop. I can highly recommend this shop! Good work! Thank you very much!

Do not recommend this place at all! Its a mess and nobody communicated with us about anything! They are just on their phones and doing nothing! They always kept walking away and letting us wait forever for nothing. In the end they couldnt help us at all, and they also werent trying to!! So annoying.

A place to recommend! We had an accident with a rollover and Lautaro Adriazola (owner of tve shop) and his men made an excellent job to bring our car back in shape so we could continue our journey. Lautaro made us a quotation and told us they would need 15 working days - and as promised they finished in time and withhin the cost-frame. They really know their job and we can highly recommend them!!!

Great help by Lautaro, the owner. He took great care of us while they worked on the car. He is an Overlander enthusiast and makes it a point to help foreigners on travel with extra attention.
Rotated tires, inspected conditions of undercarriage, tightened some loose bolts and referred us to the Alignment guys nearby to finish the job. 12k CLP for alignment, 10k CLP for the rest.

Would recommend to other overlanders

As we speak poor spanish we tried our luck here for several small repairs of our car. First they told us it will need 2 hours, then 3, they ended after more than 6 hours. They are repairing several cars at the same time, so most of the time noone was working at our car. Finally we escaped with a not satisfying result and they charged the tourist price of 50.000 for 2-3 hours working time.

Stop by for some minor repairs. Felipe was kind and in hour I was back on the road. I told home about ioverlander and he was happy to receive any business. I had a wheel stud replaced and muffler hangar welded back on to frame. His number is still the same. Good place, great guy, and good service. Gracias!

Felipe provided a fantastic service.. He was upfront about prices and delivery times for the parts (radiator, thermostat) we needed, and he offered for us to sleep in our car in the workshop so we didn't have to find alternative accommodation while we were waiting. His staff were very friendly and helpful - definitely recommended!

After trying to locate other mechanics from iOverlander recommendations and asking around (we got gringo prices everywhere) we decided to ask carabineros for advice. They were really kind and happy to help, got us an appointement here right away. The guys in the Automotora Universal fixed our problem in an hour, explained and showed us everything they did and for a very good price (a quarter of the other ones we have asked!).
