We wanted to drive to this campground. It rained pretty hard the day before. We took the exit from the highway but after about 5 km we had to turn around at a farm because the road had become too muddy and slippery to continue (we drive a 4x4 Toyota truck and are experienced offroaders). So if it is raining or has been raining recently you may want to skip this campground.

Quiet and safe place. Very cute owners. The yakisoba are worth the 20000 guaranis.
Came here in low season, rainy weather and during the week and had everything to ourselves. Beautiful and very quiet place at the shore of the lake.. On weekends it's supposed to be busier.
The dirt road leading here gets very muddy with rain and difficult to ride with motorcycles, we had to stay one day longer because of this.
The info above is a bit misleading, there's no kitchen you can use. There's a bar with covered tables and benches, which is open during the day, where you can get cold beers and snacks. Friendly Japanese caretakers.
It's 30'000 Guaranis per person for camping.
Bungalows look very nice from the outside.
