Stayed here a night after taking a tour. Off season we were the only one. Lot of wind at night.
If you park on the parking lot in front of the gas station, their wifi reach the van.

There were various campers there so we decided to get there even though the sign says that camping is not allowed there ! The only We spent a really good night there, the major advantage is that you are very close from the excursions departure. Just be careful when there is wind, you are not protected !

There were at least 15 campers, who neglect the signs. So still a good place to spend the night. We were there two nights without any problem.

They just put signs up today for ‘no camping’.. so no more free camping here.. you can still find spots on the road west to the glaciers.. too bad!!

Lugar maravilhoso e tranquilo. Perfeito. Sem água e energia.

Great spot. Nice view. No water or electricity.

We made the full tour with Panchito (First Office from the water side). It started at 15:00 and took 2,5 hours. Paid 30000 p.P. and it was really really wonderful. We had the english speaking guide Carolina. Totally recommended!

Big free parking on the beach at the lake. Very convenient, close to everything, nice view.
Lot of campervans and tourists when we visited.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits sur la plage du lac, très belle vue sur le lac et les montagnes. Il y a des toilettes à 300 pesos. Tranquille et sur.

This Place is OK! Just to update. As the other coments say: police asked us to place the camper in that area. Is very recomendable and safe. We slept very Well and no one bother us. There were some friendly dogs and one outlander more. No services.

Nice place, seems to be the only possibility to park on the beach. It was relatively quiet during night, close to town center and to lake also. There was plenty of space in sunny days of march... more recommended than the other spots in town.

Good place to stay the night before or after the visit of the capillas de marmol. Water near the playground but not very clear.

Nice place to sleep between tours. Crowded in February, but still very quiet during the night. Also secure with PDI often showing up.
For showers, we advise the ones from the camping Fauna Patagonia close by (1000ppp, quite hot and clean).

Very windy but quiet. There is a tap of water between the playground for children and the cabans to book a tour.

good place to stay in town, but there are many many people. The Copec toilets (2) get very busy and they refuse to fill water.

Big open area, busy during the day but quiet in the evening as stated by others. View over the lake is great, but not as impressive as other parts of route 7. Hardly any cover.

juste devant les cabanes d'excursions. Calme la nuit et protégé du vent. Pratique pour aller faire la sortie en mer le lendemain aux Capillas de mármol.

Big Parking behind the Excursion-Offices near the Lake.
There is a good Restaurant near, called *PLATOS PREPARADOS PIA*. (very good Salmon:-))
