Great Wadi camping. Also locals or people from Dubai come here in the weekend or during holidays. Easy acces. Paved road until the village. Be careful with cockroaches, they live on palm trees. Phone reception is not the best here. But the swimming is amazing and you can walk really far through the valley.
Report Check-Inwhat a wonderful place. we drove about 200m further up and there is a cave on the left.
Report Check-InEasy access, needs a bit of ground clearance at the end. A nice bivouac for small and medium-sized vehicles in the cave shelter.
Report Check-InReally nice place, cats made some noise at night. Hike up the Wadi for a swim in the amazing pool near the watersource. Keep to the right, the entrance of the path is a bit tricky to find.
Report Check-InWe stayed here for 2 days. There are lot of wood so there is possibility to make a fire. There is a trough with water from wadi nearby - you can pick some for washing the dishes :-)
Report Check-InMarch 2019: easy to access, wide wadi with nice spots to stay, trees on both sides of the river bed; regrettably they seem to be building a road leading up to the dam; however, it is still possible to walk up the wadi; while we were there some climbing was required (stay on the south side) and quite a few pools can be found, but not all are accessible
Report Check-InReiselust-Allrad.de : a really nice place, we are swimming 1oom before the wall. The Pool is under sun and the Stones warm.
Report Check-Innice campsite with trees and shadow. to reach the pools you have to walk around 500 m. first to the wall. after this the first pool is seen after 250 m. best pools are 700 m away from the wall.
Report Check-InMost people picnic here and do not clean up their rubbish. We liked the campsite above the gorge much better because its cleaner and the views are better. It is the better place yo start your hike to the moss and fern pool with waterfall.
