Something not right?

Description

Great spot east of Esquel. Tucked mostly out of sight of the road behind a hill and in a grove of pine trees that provide enough privacy. The wonderful view looks out across a field to nice hill slopes. Some road noise but not horrible.

This site is on the 'Old Road' from before they straightened the highway. it is now an approx 400m dead end track.

GPS coordinates point to the track entrance, not the spot itself. follow on the path until you find your preferred spot.

all quite close to the road and no cellphone reception. we didn't stay.

Great spot indeed if you look for something out of Esquel. I updated the coordinates to the track entrance, then you just have to pick your preferred spot in the next 300m. Beware of soft patches on the track sides.

Report Check-In

I camped here, but in the night the wind was strong and the wind shield not good. i don’t recomend camp here with tent.

Report Check-In

Good for a night, easy to drive to if you enter a bit more from the south. Enough space for at least 3 vans. No cell reception.

Report Check-In

We just stoped here to cook dinner, didn’t camp. But it looks perfect for pitching a tent between the trees. A little difficult to drive down to and even more difficult to get back up.

Nice cozy spot! Some noise from road. Good place to set up tent under the trees or even sleep under the stars!

Report Check-In

Quiet place for tent with trees around. Wind protection and privacy from the road.

I pulled over just 100mtr south of this place to find a similar spot. Guess same acceptable noise and litter level. Good for overnighting.

This site is on the 'Old Road' from before they straightened the highway. Enter from the north or south. There are a few piles of dirt placed in hopes of keeping trucks from dumping back here, but they are easy to get around.
