He doesn't only do land rovers, we went with our mitsubishi delica and he was very competent, friendly and helpful. He changed the bodilla de bioleta (absolutely no idea how this is called in English), the part wasn't expensive, but it took him 1 hour totally. He charged us 19 000 CLP, which we thought very fair regarding the time he spent. He included my boyfriend as an assistant which was very sweet haha :-D.

Be careful!! He quoted us 50K CLP for oil change and oil filter, we went to get a coffee while he did the work and when we got back he wanted 100K pesos as the oil was more expensive apparently. He had our number so could have told us but he proceeded anyway.

Very nice guy and speaks good English but suggest you source the parts yourself and take them there to avoid issues.

Also he quoted us 1800K for work we ended up doing in Santiago for 500K. For sure parts are more expensive there but this seems pretty pricey.

Jaime answered the phone, but unfortunately his mechanic did not show up and the garage remained closed.

Jaime is an experienced Land Rover mechanic who speaks excellent English due to his time working on Land Rovers in the Malvinas for five years. His price is reasonable and he's able to get parts from
Santiago quickly. He helped us with servicing our 110 td5 and did some extra work that we wanted doing:) Highly recommended, especially for Land Rover but also for other vehicles:)
