100m before the entrance of the park you will find a flat space at the left of the street where you can park your camper. There is space just for one vehicle. The ranger told us that we could stay everywhere outside of the park, so this place is OK. It's next to the street but it is quiet at night. The park is open from 8,30 to 17, so if you arrive after that time you can park here for the night.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Report Check-InSmall flat nice spot for one vehicle beside the row. As per COVID conditions, to get into the park a special permit is requerid in www.asp ticket.cl
The door is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am until 14:30
Great place to spend the night, sheltered from the wind. Cars began lining up in front of the park gate as of 8 AM.
Report Check-Inperfect for one night when you arrive after 17h00.
Report Check-InStayed here when we found the gate closed at the end of the day. Not an ideal spot but we did not free like driving back the bumpy road to the park. Early in the morning already cars passed to go to the park, maybe rangers. However they did not bother us staying here next to the road. On the positive side: at 8.20 we were the first to enter the park and start the hike to the glacier.
Report Check-InThere are two sleeping spots. One is directly next to the street and to the other one you can take a small street (on the right side) or just drive in a bit.
Good for one night and it’s quiet at night.
