Latest Check-Ins

The parking lot is not particularly large and the entrance is also quite narrow. Big Rigs fit, but if necessary check beforehand whether there is enough space, if necessary also to turn. We were not allowed to spend the night on 11.11.23, until further notice the owner does not want it anymore. The last campers probably didn't behave accordingly, that's how we understood it. We took part in the interesting tour that ends in a sales event. We bought the delicious cookies (12Q) and the sourdough bread (40q). The food in the restaurant in the pretty garden was excellent.

We had a super nice stay there. We payed 100 Quetzales per person included delicious macadamia pancake breakfast. The (free) tour was super interesting and friendly. We loved it! We have a quite big rig and could easily enter to the parking lot.

We went to visit the farm. We love. The guided tour is always free. The guide confirmed to us that it is always possible to sleep there, but it is paying. That would be approximately 100Q.

They aren’t letting people stay any more, seemed pretty grumpy and unhelpful.

The claimed Covid but we are vaccinated with current negative tests so it’s not that.

Excellent place for lunch. We had the handmade tortellini and the kielbasa sandwich. Both were some of the best foods we ate in all of Antigua. 100% you must get the macadamia ice cream. Simply the best ice cream we’ve had so far in Latin America.

After we took a quick macadamia farm tour and learned a bit about the macadamia nut lifecycle.

Lovely place, excellent food (not super-cheap but excellent value for what you get), interesting tour (free but small voluntary donation). We arrived 16:30ish just as they were closing. We could park there if we bought breakfast in the morning. Slightly awkward access, narrow and over a small steep section, but most rigs will make it. Car park is nice and shady but not very level. Once all the cars have gone, you should be able to find space to level up for the night.
