we got guided by cesar who made us understand the cloud forest and what its been transformed into in nearby coffee farms and pastures. also why the cocora valley is a temporary sight that will need to change. Well recommended tour. price nowadays is however up in the 40000pesos.

Agree with previous post, higly recommended. Tour is from 9 - 11 am, reservation 1 day in advance. We payed 25.000 pp, later we saw a brochure that mentioned payment is by donation. Maybe we misunderstood him on the phone about the price, but anway for us 25.000 was more than worth it.
Also the possibility to stay in an amazing eco lodge, a beautiful place. Don't know the price. No parkinglot, the lodge is in the middle of the restored jungle, but Carlos said you can park your car at the neighbours. Reservation necessary.

WOW! Take this tour!!! We are absolutely not into botanics, the way carlos is doing that tour is amazing and will open your eyes! reservations can be made through your accommodation or directly with carlos +573204258075 (whatsapp)! highly recommended!

Kasaguadua is a private nature reserve. The area used to be a coffee farm but is now being restored to original cloud forest. We had an absolutely superb tour, guided by the passionate Carlos, one of the 3 men running the site. Focus was not so much on plant names and their use, but more on the biological aspects: how plants have adapted to an environment with abundant sun and water and without seasons as well as the process of development over time. On site is a small guesthouse as well. Tours start at 9 am, reservations are compulsory and can be made by the accommodations in the environment. Highly recommended!
