For us, the guy from DIAN met us at SPRC to see the unloading/inspection and gave us the TIP as soon as the vehicle was off the flat rack or out of the container.

Pay your fees here. There is a bank and ATM inside.

But it was late in the day, so we had to return on Wednesday to finally pickup the van. Note that you have to leave the keys with them!

LoLo from Colón to Cartagena with Seaboard: Step 4, 5 and 7 for us.

After DIAN we were send directly to SPRC (without temporary TIP).
They want to see:
pass, licence of the car, BoL, permit to enter (we have got it from Seaboard), accident insurance (!)
Date for the next day to do inspection, pay the bill and get the car.

Step 5. Next day.
Inspection and pay the final bill.
(The bill was 80 $ more expensive than Tea had told us......./ Seaboard had send by mail a wrong weight and the car owners and Seaboard had a lot of discussions to got the cars)

After 8 h (!) we had to park the cars before the Exit, took fotos of the plate and VIN and "run" with this to the DIAN to get the TIP.

Step 7
After the " DIAN run" we had to come back here, show the complete TIP and wait again until 18:30 (for a paper, for annother paper, nobody knows or could explain).
Then they gave us 10 min for go straight to the cars. Otherwise we had to wait til tomorrow......
After waiting again at the Exit Gate and the final check:
Jippie!! We did it! After 11h at this day.

All cars (5) were okay, no damages.

Our RORO ship was delayed but nice man named Gabriel was able to locate. He spoke some English. Had to show proof of injury/death insurance. He checked with Port office via email to confirm acceptable; must show amount of coverage. You need final BOL for inspection and arrange an appointment for it here. Here we paid port fees of $205US (but in COP) for our rig.
