Head to one of the booths where big trucks are entering and show paperwork from SPRC and they'll keep your passport while you look for your vehicle. You need closed toed shoes. As far as insurance have SPRC email it over first to have it verified as adequate. Also see if you can arrange them to have DIAN do the inspection without you like they did for us.

Pack up some beer cause you might go crazy with all the waiting. Make absolutely sure to arrive with copies of EVERYBODY health insurance DETAILED COVERAGE with NAME on the contract with EXPIRATION DATE. That was a major headache for 11 out of 14 overlanders today it seems.

This is where we unloaded, inspected and eventually picked up our vehicle. Until it time to pick up, look for the Acceso de Control office. When you are going to pick up the vehicle, head to the main gates (look for signs that say Bascula where all the huge trucks enter and exit the port).
