Latest Check-Ins

Packed but given all the new ordinances with parking over night on the coast it’s nice to have a place to feel safe and still get a glimpse of the ocean.

Report Check-In

Great place to spend a night. Beach is right here. Bathrooms are clean and vending machines are plentiful. It’s busy but somehow quiet at the same time.

Report Check-In

packed even at 10:30p. couple spots left but very busy. tons of washrooms, vending machines, 5G connection.

Report Check-In

As others described: lots of spots, some manageable highway noise and busy! If you want to overnight here you should plan to come a little earlier in the evening. Vending machines were good. Verizon reception good. Overall good for a night. It was surprisingly quiet overnight for how busy it was.

Report Check-In

This rest stop was PACKED at 11pm. Helicopters flying over all night long.

Report Check-In

Arrived there at 01:00 am left at 08:00 am, sleep well, not so much noise, feel very safe. Restroom are clean. Nice area would come again.

Report Check-In

Arrived there at 01:00am left around 08:00am, sleep well, a bit of noise, feel very safe. Restroom very clean.

Report Check-In

Good night sleep on way to Baja. Lots of parking and clean restroom. Noise not bad considering the location.

Report Check-In

Rest area as described. Stayed 1 night. Would go back again. Verizon access 4 bars but low bandwidth 40mb down/15 up. It was mostly quiet, road noise was there, but my van has sound dampening so it minimizes that stuff by about 20db. Mostly it was a quiet night. There were a few other vans when I got there at 7pm, stayed until 10 the next morning. I stealth camped and I advise you to do the same. Did not get bothered or woken up. Used the rest rooms. They were clean and did not stink like some rest areas.

Report Check-In

Easy and legal. Noisy but safe. Next rest area is 3 hours away.

Report Check-In

A great rest area to spend the night at! Views of the ocean and nice place to walk the dog. Clean restrooms. Definitely busy but wasn’t too loud to sleep in my opinion!

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night in a travel trailer. We rolled in about 7 pm and the place was hopping! Groups of folks hanging out in the car lot, not many camper/truck spaces remaining, you would have thought there was a festival happening here or something. Anyway, quite a few campers and trucks tucked in for the evening and despite the initial crowds it was quiet overnight with no disturbances. Keep in mind it is a rest stop so there is highway hum, and vehicles passing through. I did notice a small tent encampment in the back of the rest stop. Otherwise, no complaints. Bathrooms were clean and cell signal was good.

Report Check-In

I thought this was a great spot! I didn’t think it was TOO noisy. Especially in the middle of the night when less trucks were pulling in. You can hear the humm of the highway but honestly not bad. The bathrooms were open for me. Would stay here again! I parked to the left where the semis are and RVs are although I have a sprinter. Came at 6pm left at 7ish am.

Report Check-In

This place was great for us! We parked with the trucks in our 22ft trailer around 6:30pm and are taking our time leaving in the morning. They say 8 hour stay only, but no one seems to care that we’ve been here for 10hrs. Bathrooms are closed due to COVID but plenty of junk food in vending machines. Trucks coming and going all through the night, but I slept great!!

Very busy indeed. It says "8 hour limit" and no overnight parking, but we were fine for one night. Lots of bathrooms and even a vending machine with hot coffee. OK for an overnight, but way too busy to be relaxing.

Report Check-In

Busy rest area and still a good resting place for one night. Most of the cars parked there are overnighting.
We parked with our van in the trucks area, right at the parking entry. With earplugs, we had a great night.
Restroom open all night, quite clean. The place feels safe.

Report Check-In

still a busy and noisy rest area, but for one night it‘s ok. there are restrooms, water and picnic tables. Don‘t hesitate to go there, the signs shows only 8h and no overnight, but nobody will check you. many peoples stay there every night. we came in at 9pm and left at 8am - no problems!

Report Check-In

Busy rest area for day use and overnight stay. Plenty of rest rooms, vending machines and a water fill station on the right side, between entry and buildings.

Report Check-In

We were pretty tired and stopped here to sleep at night before resuming driving in the morning - unfortunately we did not get any sleep - sound of trucks going in and out all night kept us up. Very busy rest stop, there was even a line for the restrooms in the morning! I would say avoid it if you need to rest

Report Check-In

Very crowded at 23hs. We didn't find place to park. Alot of overnighters. We didn' t see any no overnight sign.

Report Check-In
