We took the three-day tour with the History Travelers agency and it was perfect in a 4x4 vehicle, we would never get here with our car.

Guards asked us to leave at 5pm. It is no longer permitted to camp in any part of the dessert (only official campings) so we went to the "kite and surf" place in cabo.

Nice spot to chill. A bit of people in the day time but not a soul after 6pm. Really quiete night. We slept one night in the car at this spot but in the morning We were told by a guy that We are not allowed to camp here for safety raisons. He told us to spend the night at Cabo de la Vela wich is the only place where We are allow to camp ! I don’t beleive that is dangerous to camp here so take your chance !

One of our fav wild camp spots yet on this trip. Tuck yourself behind one of the dunes if the wind is super strong. We set up our ground tent and slept like babies. Felt super safe. The locals are very friendly.

Gorgeous spot! Could have stayed another night. We noticed a blow hole to the left + walked to the top of Cerro Pilon de Azucar for some stunning views.
